He lives life to the fullest.  He loves his chew toys and does well playing with other dogs of all sizes. He loves running and playing in his foster home's fenced backyard where he often sprints in circles “zoomie” style. Murphy has a loving heart and a playfully kind personality. He is hearing impaired from birth, but his other sences are hightened to the point that you would hardly know otherwise. The ideal adopter for Murphy will be patient, kind and ready for lots of love and attention. Murphy is bright and intelligent and learns quickly. Murphy’s ideal home would have a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and run safely at full speed. Murphy has not been on walks with a leash and harness, so that will be a new horizon yet to be explored as he matures. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Up in the sky! Look! It's a Pomeranian! It's a Chihuahua! It's Joey! Joey is a year old, eight pound, long-haired Chi-pom mix, and his energetic personality matches this medley of furballs.  Joey was found as a stray in a cage with 6 or 7 other similar-looking dogs. He is not used to living indoors with humans, but he is slowly becoming confident. He has learned a lot in the meantime: to settle in his crate, to take walks on a leash, and to play with his toys independently.  Joey loves chasing dragonflies and army-crawling in tall grass. He loves sprinting in the yard and chewing on collagen sticks and yak cheese. He especially loves his snuffle mat! There are a few quirks about Joey that will take patience from his future humans. Although he has learned to toilet outdoors, he hasn’t quite gotten over some handling issues. Fear and excitement cause him to have little accidents. Thankfully, he is very small and has gotten used to wearing a belly band. Joey also needs to be closely watched as he enjoys jumping from high places and will need to be discouraged from parkouring. But hey, that means he might be great for an agility course! Joey is young and acts like a puppy, so obedience training is a must. He should not be in a home with children younger than 10. Online Adoption Application › Maikoh is a 25lb, 4year old husky-pomeranian mix.  She has had a rough start to life.  She has been used for breeding and selling puppies.  She has spent most of her life outdoors.  She is getting used to all of the things that an indoor dog learns -- leashes, cages, handling by humans.  She is slowly coming around but is expected to be anxious for quite a while.  Since she is so used to the outdoors, we do think she is a flight risk and must have a yard with a high fence.   Maikoh's personality hasn't yet show yet-- but we will get there.  Watch this space to hear more about how she develops in her foster home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 25, 2026, 4:26 pm
