Story
Intake Date: 16 January 2026 ----- Age at Intake: 3 years ----- Breed: Pomeranian ----- Size: 7 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: Dogs, cats, chill children. ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard, possible apartment with leashed exercise ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Requires regular grooming ----- Additional Notes: Meet Tammy 💕Tammy is a soft as a cloud Pomeranian with a heart made for cuddling and a personality best described as peaceful perfection. She came to rescue after a family divorce, and while life changed around her, Tammy stayed exactly who she is: loving.
Tammy is the definition of a low-key companion. She’s quiet in the house, wonderful in a crate, and an absolute dream at bedtime—she sleeps soundly in bed and takes her cuddle duties very seriously. If you’re looking for a dog who won’t demand chaos or constant entertainment, Tammy is your girl.
Because of her calm and quiet nature, Tammy would do best in a home with older or cuddly children who enjoy gentle affection. Loud, busy chaos and Tammy aren’t in the same dictionary.
She’s polite about food too—preferring a couple of smaller meals instead of one big one. No diva behavior here, just a dainty little lady with refined tastes. 💅
As a Pom, Tammy will require regular grooming, and she handled her spa day at Pearls Pet Parlor like an absolute pro. Huge thanks to Bethany at Pearl’s for being such a blessing to rescue animals—Tammy left looking (and feeling) fabulous.
If your ideal dog is cute, sweet, calm, and happiest curled up beside you, Tammy is ready to claim her spot on your couch—and in your heart. 🐾💗
