Hello wonderful people! My name is Dixie (Dixie 2 to be exact as there is another little girl with the same name and we both know our name). If you are looking for big love in a small package, am your girl! I am very sweet and loving and looking for my forever home! I am house trained however I do not like the rain, after all I am from CA. So when it is raining my human will need to accompany me for a while to make sure I go to the bathroom outside. I love playing with toys and I get along with other dogs. I am almost 2 years old. I am shy at first, so I will need a little time to warm up, but once I do, I will be attached to your hip. My favorite things in the world are belly rubs and burrowing beneath blankets. My tail pretty much wags constantly and I am very smart. So if you are looking for a tiny cuddler, who will hug your arm to keep it from ceasing its petting, your search is over!! Meet Mia, a charming senior dog (almost 12 years old but sure cant tell it) with a heart full of love. Her personality is as sweet as sugar, and she has a knack for making everyone around her feel special. Mia`s favorite pastimes include cuddling up for a good movie, wagging her tail at friendly faces, and enjoying leisurely walks. She knows exactly how to ask for what she wants, charming everyone with her cute begging stance. She`s the perfect companion for children and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. Her gentle, friendly demeanor makes her a joy to be around. Adopting Mia isn`t just about giving a home to a shelter pet, it`s about welcoming a new member into your family. She`s ready to fill your home with love, loyalty, and a lot of cuddles. Don`t miss the chance to make your family complete with Mia. She is a senior and her hearing isn`t the best but she is fully vetted including a dental where she lost only 1 loose tooth and she is over weight so that needs to be worked on with walks (That she loves) and good food and lower amount. She is at 24 pounds and should be around 15. Her adoption fee is $ 300. She is chipped, spayed and up to date on vaccines.
