Cody is a senior pomeranian mix with a low-energy, mellow personality. He does well with other dogs and enjoys a calm, relaxed environment. Cody can be a bit shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he doesn’t mind being held and enjoys the company of familiar people. Cody is looking for a peaceful home where he can feel safe, cozy, and loved. He would make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a gentle dog and a quieter lifestyle. He is located in California but can be transported throughout the PNW! (Cody is cross posted for our rescue partner)

Story
Yin needs a quiet home and access to her own private backyard. She needs a big cozy donut bed and she will want to play fetch. She drinks lots of water. She barks when someone comes to the door. When you’re busy she never leaves your side. This girl loves to play, snuggle and bring the ball. Very spoiled her entire life she gets dry food and like a good steak chopped in tiny pieces, pork roast, roasted chicken. She picks out the peas and carrots, even though she had 17 teeth extracted last year. She is in to marking because of our other dog and she has always done it from a puppy. She will go out the dog door if you go with her. And she always goes outside if it’s good weather. But she is scared of neighbors cats, they are aggressive tom cats, so she will make a puddle by her food dish at night if I don’t get her out quickly after her dinner. She is actually nervous but good if you hold her around people. She gets nervous and wants picked up during company.

Story
Yin would be an excellent travel companion. If you’re going on the road in a camping situation she really enjoys being up in the passenger seat. I put her in a dog seat strapped in but high enough for her to watch what’s going on. She loves to play fetch and she will warm up to the person holding the ball, or a squeaky toy, and plays with kids 7 years old and above but not toddlers. She is scared of them and hides from my nieces & nephew in law 4 little peeps under age 6. She tolerates dogs her size and cats. She would be best as a pet to a couple who likes road trips because she loves to go in the car and sit in her seat and look out the window. She is very affectionate but not a lap dog. She likes to sit beside you. She loves to keep an eye out for you and chip barks when someone is heading towards you. Not a bunch of barks, just one or two quietly. Like hey pal “incoming”.
