Story
Kira is looking for a fresh start in life. Kira came to us after having been hit by a car which resulted in her having to lose her eye but she doesn't let that stop her. She is back to full health and loving life! Kira is a 2-year old, dog friendly, loves stuffies and bones but most of all she loves to be with her people. We would assume she would be good with kids and cats but we haven't seen her around them, yet. Kira is doing well with house training and is crate trained. Have a fenced yard? She loves to romp around and get her energy out. Think Kira would be the perfect fit? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet George a 5 year old, 12 pound guy who's only requirement is he should be an only pet. He was a street dog along a major 4 lane highway for at least a month before being captured, but no one ever claimed him. George is sweet, playful, and loves his people as much as he loves food. This stubby legged brindle boy is eager to learn and super food motivated. He did pick up some tick friends during his travels leaving him with Lyme and Anaplasma, but we treated him doxycycline for 21 days and he is one heathy dude now. He is create trained, leash trained, loves car rides, but needs a tiny bit more perfecting on the house training so a belly band will save you from any headaches for a future family. George is truly perfect package as your one and only! DNA results revealed George is a Pomeranian, Mini Pinscher, Shih Tzu, Mini Poodle, and a little bit of Pekingese mix. To adopt George, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Benedict is a beautiful white and orange, 6 year old, 10 pound breeder release looking for his happily ever after! He is healthy, but after dental surgery, he did need all his teeth extracted. Puppy mill life took its toll so he does rely on other dogs and does require a fenced yard. He is feeling fantistic now, is playing with toys, and allows all handling. Benedict is slowly learning how to live life as a pampered house dog. He is housetrained as long as you keep him on a regular schedule, crate trained, and does well in a car. Won't you give this handsome man the royal treatment of a happily ever after!?! To adopt Benedict, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Eddie is a 22lb, 14 year old Pomeranian and lab mix who is pretty spry for an old guy. Aside from being a professional napper, he loves a good trot through his foster mom's fenced backyard. Eddie is very quiet and only barks if he is unhappy with a visitor or situation, such as another dog getting into his personal space. For this reason Eddie would thrive in a home as an only dog. He takes some time to warm up, but given space, he will seek out your attention and lean into you for pets and belly rubs. Eddie is food driven and loves his treats after coming inside from going potty. While Eddie walks well on a leash and doesn't pull, a fenced yard is best since he doesn't love all other dogs. Eddie is vision impaired, but can see well enough to navigate furniture and steps. He also has a keen ear for plastic food wrappers. If you have a quiet, relaxed vibe in your home, Eddie would be a perfect companion for you. Eddie's coat is more like a lab and only requires regular brushing, as opposed to regular grooming like poms. He has had a recent dental, with only 6 remaining teeth, but he does well with eating small kibble. This senior boy is just looking for a comfy spot to reside for the rest of his days. To adopt Eddie, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet the gorgeous Poncho, a 2 year old, 17 pound Pomsky looking for his happily ever after! This sweet boy was used strictly for breeding and lived in a rabbit hutch his whole life so the world scares him. He is learning that humans are for love and scratches, while loving his freedom of playing with other dogs and toys in the yard. He will need a committed home that is patient while he adjusts. Poncho is house trained with regular potty breaks, but he is still learning and accidents happen. He is on an anxiety medication that we hope won't be needed forever, but it has helped him overcome so many fears that it does need continued until he is fully adjusted to a new home. Poncho is super sweet and in the right home with other dogs he will thrive. He will need a fenced yard as he doesn't know what a leash is yet, but this guy is smart and will learn with time. He tends to seek out human females in the home, but can live with men. He just doesn't quite accept attention from the man of the house yet, but he is curious. Won't you give a beautiful boy a shot at the good life? To adopt Poncho, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, neuter, and all the love you can handle!
