Meet Trixie. Trixie is a German Spitz/Pomeranian mix that came to us from a breeder. She turns 3 years old on June 10, 2026. Trixie weighs about 20 lbs. Trixie has taken a lot of time to learn to trust new people. She is happiest playing with other dogs her size and running around in her foster mom's fenced in yard. She loves to play with toys in the dark of the night when no one is watching. Trixie keeps her crate clean and knows to go in when it is time for her foster mom to leave. She is going to need a very calm and patient home that has a love for the breed. She wants to be friends but is afraid of people.  So far she has only found one person that she trusts and likes to cuddle with. She will mostly hide when there are visitors except for this one person. We think he may look like someone she knew before. No little kids for Trixie as she will snap when she feels threatened or cornered. She is now spayed, had a dental cleaning and is up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100.00. I'm Yoko, an 11 year old, 13 pound Pomeranian Corgi mix looking for my happily ever after.  I would love my own person to snuggle with.  Walking around the yard is nice, but I still wait at the door for a leash and potty walk, since that’s how we did it in the city where I lived my whole life. I’m ok with not having a big yard because I prefer walking with my person many times a day unless it’s raining then a pee pad will do nicely. You will notice I have a short hair cut, my coat was very matted and I really don’t like to be brushed so a puppy cut keeps me cute and comfortable. I do well for grooming that doesn't involve a brush. I feel great for my age and have a spunky side. Cats and calmer small dogs don’t bother me as companions, but kids not so much . Visitors are always fun, especially men who are my favorite humans. I do consider myself a foodie too. Apples are one of my favorite treats, but I love anything you might be eating and want to share with me. If you want an adorable walking buddy, I am your girl! Story
We just had our first baby, and we are unable to care for Taco. He is just the greatest, but we need to rehome him. He is the sweetest and most cuddly thing, but he needs to be better potty trained (maybe getting neutered will help?) - which we no longer have the patience to continue. He loves us and he loves food, maybe a little too much because he will bite you if you try to take it away from him. I want to emphasize that he is the best to us, but he at times doesn't like strangers in the home (which is a good and bad thing, we suppose- if you are looking for a pet that barks when there are noises or animals outside. He loves to chase little squeaker, if you take him outside he will pee and poo for treats, but again, he does too much of this indoors. He's so soft and happy, but again we cannot manage him along-side our prioritie. I couldn't call him a biter, but he will snap at you if its food related or he doesn't enjoy your company. He's so soft, and we will miss him a lot.

He was a street dog along a major 4 lane highway for at least a month before being captured, but no one ever claimed him. George is sweet, playful, and loves his people as much as he loves food. This stubby legged brindle boy is eager to learn and super food motivated. He did pick up some tick friends during his travels leaving him with Lyme and Anaplasma, but we treated him doxycycline for 21 days and he is one heathy dude now. He is create trained, leash trained, loves car rides, but needs a tiny bit more perfecting on the house training so a belly band will save you from any headaches for a future family. George is truly perfect package as your one and only! DNA results revealed George is a Pomeranian, Mini Pinscher, Shih Tzu, Mini Poodle, and a little bit of Pekingese mix. Ziggy came into rescue from a hoarding situation. He does okay with other small and medium dogs but prefers to be the center of attention. He would do best in a home where he is the only dog to be treated like the prince he is meant to be. He has been completely vetted and is house/crate trained. He is fostered near Knoxville, TN but transportation is included in the adoption fee. Transportation is provided by Rescue Riders LLC to a location near you. Please email for adoption application.
