Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Juno is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 5/7/25 Juno had a dental and had an embedded dewclaw removed. Juno is a Pomeranian mix. She is not hypoallergenic and does shed. Weight: 9 lbs Height: 12 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $399 Fence needed? No, Juno is an indoor dog. What kind of home would be best for me? While Juno is a little timid at first, she has no trouble meeting new people and absolutely loves being held and petted. She’s craving a human (or humans!) to call her own – someone to cuddle with on the couch, share road trips and errands, especially if a pup cup is involved! Juno simply wants to enjoy all the simple joys of life together with you. From supermarket runs to beach vacations, Juno is ready to be your shadow—and she’s small enough to be welcome nearly everywhere. Thanks to her compact size, Juno would thrive in nearly any home environment—whether that’s an apartment, townhouse, or single-family home. She’s not picky about who adopts her as long as they have a big heart and a warm lap. Whether you're single, a couple, or a family, Juno will shower you with love. Juno also gets along well with other dogs, big and small. She hasn’t met any cats yet, but her gentle personality suggests she’d do fine in a home with a cat who can tolerate a little curiosity. What is my personality like? Say hello to Juno, your new best friend. This adorable Pomeranian/Terrier mix has a heart full of love and a longing for a forever home. Juno came to us as a breeder release and hadn't experienced the best start in life. Since arriving at the farm, she’s been treated for a skin infection and is recovering beautifully. Like many dogs from similar situations, she’s learning how to navigate the world – but she's already making great strides. Juno is still learning the ropes. She’s not yet fully leash-trained and may pull if she doesn’t get her way. She also needs to learn basic commands like sit, stay, down, and come. The good news - she’s eager to please and a quick learner, so positive training will not only help her gain confidence but also build a strong bond with you. With patience and love, she’ll be a wonderful student. Potty training is another skill Juno is working on. Regular outdoor breaks and consistency will help her succeed. Juno is a wonderful little girl with a huge heart and a ton of love to share with her new adopter. She’s waiting here for you, ready to fill the void in her, and your life. How do I act when I first meet new people? When meeting new people, Juno can be a bit shy—but she warms up quickly, especially if there’s a lap involved. She adores attention and affection and just wants someone to love her back. Other tips and tidbits: Juno was born on or around 3/26/2022. Juno is now ON RESERVE through Thursday 5/17/25. When a dog is listed as "on reserve" this means an approved adopter has scheduled an appointment for the current week. While our adopter is not obligated to take the reserved dog home if the meet and greet is not successful. It does mean we are committed to not showing anyone else to that dog until the meet and greet is held. We do not hold dogs but, since most of our adopters come from over 2 hours one way drive, we are considerate of their time invested, hence our limited reserve policy. If Juno;s profile is removed from our available dogs page on Thursday, you'll know she's in her happy home. Look for a happy tails photo on our Facebook page on Monday. If the words "on reserve" are removed, you'll know that another lucky dog found a home and Juno is still waiting to meet the adopter of her dreams. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
