You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. We DO NOT have a physical shelter. Apply to adopt by filling out the online adoption application on our main website dakotadachshundrescue.org Click on Adoption Info under the Navigation bar on the left side of the page. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.   Phoebe is tiny sweet and beautiful. She does great with the other dogs and is working on potty training. Phoebe must have a fenced yard.  Phoebe is 8 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. Her adoption fee is $250 plus tax of $11.25 for a total of $261.25   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental and microchipping.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 10:00 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lincoln is a confident, independent, and very intelligent Pomeranian pup in search of his forever family! His foster mom says Lincoln is very sweet and loves to be petted. He is the leader of the pack and loves to play fetch!   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard preferred.  Family with the time & patience required to properly train and socialize a puppy. Lincoln's adoption fee is $600 plus tax.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice.
