Story
Clara is an absolutely stunning Pomsky that came from a breeder that had too many dogs and she could not care for them. Clara is great with other dogs and people. She is smart and kind. She gets a little protective of her dog chews, so she should not have them around other dogs.

Story
Bingham is a 1 year old, 16 pound Pomeranian blend who joined us from a county facility, and he is now looking for his forever home.Bingham is a handsome 1-year-old Pomeranian blend, weighing 16 pounds, who is full of curiosity, personality, and youthful energy. Like many young dogs, he's an active guy who enjoys exploring his surroundings and seeing what the world has to offer.Bingham will spend time happily niffing and investigating his surroundings, taking in all the sights and smells. When it's time to relax, he'll show his affectionate side by snuggling up on the sofa and enjoying some quiet companionship. Bingham can be a little enthusiastic when meeting other dogs and tends to come on strong, so he may do best with canine friends who enjoy playful interactions. A home with a dog who prefers a calm, low-key lifestyle may not be the best fit for him.Because Bingham has shown some sensitivity around having his mouth handled, he is looking for a home with children ages 8 and older who can respect his boundaries and help him feel comfortable. This sweet, energetic boy is ready to find a family that will appreciate his playful spirit, affectionate nature, and unique charm. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share adventures and couch cuddles, Bingham may be the perfect match! To get started in the process of meeting Bingham, please visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form, and then come by the Adoption Center to meet with one of our adoption counselors. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the animal. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In the event there is more than one home interested in the same animal, a lottery may be held that will include all families that are at our adoption center at the time we open the day the animal becomes available. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
We found this sweet girl in our neighborhood 8 months ago and have been looking for a home for her. The vet estimates about 2 years old. She is spayed. She is a playful young dog and still has chewing tendencies. Will chew shoes and toys if left out but has not chewed furniture. We've left her out for short periods (2 hours) but otherwise will crate when leaving for longer periods. Sleeps in a crate but has also been ok sleeping on the couch with one of us. Potty trained- uses doggie door but we also take her out on short walks 3-4x/day. She chases cars so non retractable leash is best. She is very smart and easy to train. She is food motivated. Knows sit, drop it, paw, dead. She will jump on your lap and snuggle/ask for scratches Good with our small dog (he's 10lbs) but she tries to play and can be too rough for him. Also good around kids as small as 5 but she sometimes jumps when excited. We taught her not to jump on our 10yo daughter. Great dog just not the best fit for us now
