Handsome, playful, and always ready for a good belly rub, Glenn is just under 2 years old, 43-pound Husky/Shepherd blend looking for a family to call his own.Glenn recently joined us, and he’s already showing us just how charming he can be. Squeaky toys are a definite favorite, and when he’s not busy playing, he’s more than happy to soak up some affection. In fact, if Glenn thinks belly rubs might be on the agenda, don’t be surprised if he flops right onto his back to make your job a little easier!Glenn has plenty of youthful enthusiasm and is ready to begin his next chapter with people who will give him the love, companionship, and adventures he deserves. To get started in the process of meeting Glenn, please visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form, and then come by the Adoption Center to meet with one of our adoption counselors. No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the animal. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In the event there is more than one home interested in the same animal, a lottery may be held that will include all families that are at our adoption center at the time we open the day the animal becomes available. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Hi! I got Graham from a family friend who had a litter of pups from their dog. I have been taking care of him until he has finished his vaccines. He is fully vaccinated and on track with them. Last visit was 8/14, he’s a healthy pup! Currently eating Purina Pro Plan (Puppy DHA bag). I’m trying to rehome him as I do not have the time and space for a husky :3. Graham is an energetic boy, playful, but also chills often too. Hoping to get him to a great family in at least 3 weeks. The profile says he has to be neutered in 30 days which is not true :), the vet said they suggest at year 1, he’s only 4months. Please reach out if interested! Thanks!

Story
Hello! My name is Oso, which means “bear” in Spanish—but don’t let the name fool you! I’m a gentle giant with a heart full of love. I was saved just three hours before my time was up at the county shelter, and even though I’m a senior, I have so much life and love left to give! I’m all about people—I love them, like really, really love them. After spending my whole life outdoors, I’m absolutely thrilled by the comfort of indoor air conditioning and a doggy door that lets me wander into the yard whenever I want. Life is good! One of my favorite things is carrying around my stuffed toys, especially the small ones—they make me so happy! I also love chasing a ball and am the best boy when it’s time for a bath. Treats are my weakness, especially chicken tacos (yum!). I’m looking for a home where I can be the only dog because I just want to soak up all the love for myself. I’m easygoing, never bark, and my tail wiggles with joy when I meet new friends. I’m dreaming of a forever home where I can give lots of kisses, enjoy scratchies, and just be your loyal companion for the rest of my days. If you can offer me a place to call home, please reach out to my foster mom, Jenn, at 602-710-4143. I can’t wait to meet you! ❤️ I’m a courtesy post for Valley Dogs Rescue.
