Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, July 18. Instead, we are offering private adoption appointments for individual animals July 17-19. Contact us to learn more!* No, we didn’t photoshop this dog, we promise she’s real!! I know, I know... it's the ears first. Then the two different-colored eyes. And then... THE UNDERBITE. I literally always have a smile, and yes, people laugh when they meet me—but only because they instantly fall in love. My smile is one of a kind, and I'm pretty proud of it. I'm a 24-pound Husky mix with a big personality packed into a perfectly portable size. I love people, I'm dog-friendly, and I do well with well-mannered kiddos who know how to be kind to dogs. My favorite hobby? Blasting around the yard with full-speed zoomies before coming back for pets and cuddles. What I'm really looking for is someone who sees my goofy grin and thinks, "Yep. That's my dog." I've been waiting for my forever family, and I promise to make you laugh every single day. Luna is an 11-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Luna is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Alibi is currently located at our Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Looking for an accomplice for lazy Sundays, cozy evenings, and peaceful afternoon naps? Meet Alibi. And unlike most alibis, this one is actually trustworthy. At 47 pounds, Alibi is a petite husky with a fluffy coat, soulful eyes, and a wonderfully laid-back personality. While many huskies are known for endless energy and dramatic opinions, Alibi seems to have skipped that chapter entirely. Her favorite hobbies include relaxing, lounging, hanging out with her people, and generally being an expert in the art of taking it easy. Alibi is good on leash, does well in her kennel, and is friendly with both people and dogs. She enjoys treats well enough, but she's far more interested in spending quality time with her friends than chasing snacks. Her calm, easygoing nature makes her a breath of fresh air, and she's the kind of dog who can turn even the busiest day into a reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment. This beautiful girl would thrive in a home with other dogs to lounge alongside, share sunny spots with, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. If you've been searching for a dog who brings peace rather than chaos, Alibi may be exactly who you've been waiting for. With her fluffy coat, she'll need regular brushing and grooming to keep her looking her best. And after spending time in the New Mexico heat, this sweet husky is more than ready to trade desert temperatures for cooler weather, crisp mornings, and maybe even a little snow. Alibi isn't looking for an action-packed lifestyle. She's looking for a best friend, a comfy couch, a cozy dog bed, and a family who will love her for the gentle, sweet soul she is. In return, she'll happily help you relax, unwind, and remember that sometimes the best days are the quiet ones. If your idea of a perfect companion is a fluffy, affectionate, low-key best friend who loves people, enjoys other dogs, and excels at relaxation, then Alibi has a pretty solid case for becoming your new favorite roommate. Volunteers say: "Alibi is very sweet, easy to walk, and energetic!"
