Huck is currently located at our Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Meet Huck! Huck is a one-year-old Husky mix with a happy-go-lucky personality and a heart full of excitement for life. This playful boy is always ready for fun, whether it’s going on adventures, playing with his dog friends, or greeting his favorite people with pure joy. Huck is still learning his manners and sometimes jumps up to say hello—he just can’t contain how excited he is to meet you! With his sweet and friendly demeanor, Huck has no handling sensitivities and truly enjoys being around people. Because of his enthusiastic greetings, he would do best with kids who are a bit older and sturdy enough that his excitement won’t accidentally knock them over. Huck is also a social butterfly with other dogs and absolutely loves having pup friends to run and play with. He’s a smart, playful guy who will thrive in a home that can continue helping him learn good manners while giving him plenty of exercise, enrichment, and love. And did we mention his eyes? Huck has the most stunning look, with one warm brown eye and one striking blue eye that make him truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and adventurous companion, Huck might just be your perfect match! Come meet this handsome boy today!

Story
*I am in a foster home but available for meet and greets at the Everyday Adoption Center in PetSmart Westminster!* If you love a true husky, then look no further than Kenai. He is not afraid to express his opinion even if you haven’t asked for it. He may be a little slow to warm up but once he is ready then you are in his heart forever. He loves other dogs and would do best in a home that is looking to expand their family. He can get stressed when he is in a kennel but is a rockstar when it comes to being left to roam around the house and is even house trained. Walks are his favorite time of day and although he can pull a little he will be more gentle with a little light encouragement. When he is excited for dinner he will tippy tappy to his heart's content or until he gets his food. Kenai is also incredibly smart and loves to use his big juicy brain to solve puzzle toys especially if they are ball shaped. When he is comfortable he is not afraid to show his goofy side and rub against you like a cat and will even jump up to greet you home from work. Even when he is upset he has the cutest husky tantrum and will throw himself all over the bed as he grumbles. Kenai is an amazing sous chef and copilot in the car helping you every step of the way if you let him. If you are ready to open your home to a boy that might need a little bit of time but once ready will give you his whole heart the ask to meet Kenai today! Volunteers say "Kenai has the cutest excited tippy-tappy toes ever!!!"

You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey! *Our Mission* At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission.

These pups are in Fort Collins, Colorado too!

Story
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIS DOG: Rosie is shy and fearful around humans and is bonded to Sammy. She requires patience, love, and guidance to help continue to show her how to properly dog and that the world is not as scary as it seems. Rosie is a very shy girl and is still feeling a little scared of humans. She does like to be pet and having her neck scratched. Her personality shows when she gets outside and argues with the squirrels but it takes a little while for her to get used to coming inside the house. Rosie has seen a lot in her life and has some trust issues with humans. She has never shown any aggression and will melt when she gets brushed or pet. Like her siblings, she will take some time adjusting to a new home and may never totally come out of her shell. She would be good in a home with a fenced yard or warm outside space and no cats. Rosie came into rescue with her two friends, who are also female chow mixes. All three were very scared of humans and refused to even be touched. Again, there was no aggression - but they would run away in fear if humans tried to approach. They have been fostered with our director's family for last couple of years while they have gone through a very slow introduction to the good side of humans. While they are now ready to find their forever homes, they do need adopters who are willing to take the time to win their trust and won't expect them to be going for walks around the neighborhood anytime soon. These girls can only go to homes with fully fenced backyards and very patient humans. These girls will not be attending our adoption events and will require meet and greets at the foster's home. ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Petco in Fort Collins (2211 S College Ave. STE 200, Fort Collins, CO 80525)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIS DOG: Sammy is shy and fearful around humans and is bonded to Rosie. She requires patience, love, and guidance to help continue to show her how to properly dog and that the world is not as scary as it seems. Sammy is so sweet! She had a rough beginning and has come a very long way learning how to be a dog and trusting humans. She went from cowering in corners and kennels to spinning excitedly when we greet her in the morning. Sammy has never showed any aggression to humans and just melts when getting brushed. She is full of curiosity and loves exploring and chasing the squirrels. Sammy will take some time and patience from a special human to get used to her surroundings and will need a fenced yard as she is not very comfortable on a leash. She will do best in a home by herself and no cats. Sammy came into rescue with her two friends, who are also female chow mixes. All three were very scared of humans and refused to even be touched. All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Kallias Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $450 Meet Kallias: This adorable big man is such a sweetheart and ready for his forever home! From Their Previous Shelter: Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/ibcClvcaKPY?feature=share Playgroup- https://youtube.com/shorts/Ut4A-jVt0zc?feature=share Meet Kallias, a four year old neutered husky mix weighing 78 pounds with the most striking icy blue eyes and the fluffiest polar bear looks you’ve ever seen. Kallias has been through far more than any dog should. He spent time living on a chain, often getting loose and trying to survive on his own, and was even found dragging a chain at one point. During a major freeze, Kallias was discovered alone and fending for himself in the cold, left to rely on instinct instead of comfort. Despite everything he has endured, Kallias is an incredibly sweet and gentle soul. He truly loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. His resilience is matched by his kindness, and he greets the world with trust and affection rather than fear. Kallias walks well on a leash, appears to be potty trained, and knows basic obedience. He is very food motivated and eager to please, making him a joy to work with. Kallias is quiet in his crate, calm during car rides, and was a very good boy when being lifted into the vehicle. He has a thick, beautiful coat and would benefit from regular brushing and grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. His fluffy appearance only adds to his charm, making him impossible to ignore once you meet him. Now Kallias is ready for his next chapter. He is dreaming of going from a life of survival to a life of comfort, love, and security. He deserves warm beds, full bowls, gentle hands, and a home where he will never be left out in the cold again. Kallias is ready to be spoiled, cherished, and treated like the king he has always been meant to be. If you are looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold and a story of resilience, Kallias is ready to meet you and start his forever life. Interested in this furry companion? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. *PLEASE NOTE* Photos, information, age, breed, size, medical status, behavior, and adoption fee are all subject to change as we get to know them.
