Story
Zumi is a beautiful and sweet floof who is looking for his forever home! This cutie is dog friendly and kid friendly, and loves to give kisses! He is being fostered by our resident Mother of Huskies where he is getting all the love, cuddles, and playtime! He will quickly win over your heart with his sweet disposition. From his foster parent: "Zumi-Zumi is a lover boy! He's great with kids and loves affection from people. He loves to be outside and go on his walks. Zumi gets along well with other dogs and loves a good play session. He sleeps quietly all night in his kennel and takes treats gently. This boy will make a great addition to an active family! He's a true sweetheart." Zumi has some luxating patella issues that he will be seeing a specialist for. His adopter will need to be willing and able to provide any required aftercare (including follow-up appointments) if the specialist determines that surgery is needed. ADOPTION FEE: $500 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Hello! This is our sweet boy, Oliver! We adopted him from a foster home when he was a puppy. He is 2 years old. He is EXTREMELY friendly with people and animals (although he likes to play too much with smaller animals) He loves snuggling, playing tug, the snow, running, carrying sticks on walks, and peanut butter. Ollie is a kind, gentle spirited, goofy dog; he is also very smart paired with an equal amount of stubbornness. He does have some anxiety, mostly vocal with whining, only barks when trying to get another dog’s attention. He knows not to be destructive but has on the rare occasion given in to his desire to chomp away on things. With that said, we are looking for a home that can give him all the love and attention he needs.

Story
Meet Winnie! Winnie the Pooch is approximately 2 years old, loves hiking and being outside, enjoys eating snow, and is a cuddle bug. She is great with kids but hasn’t been around cats yet. Winnie is a sweet and happy-go-lucky kind of dog who loves to be included in activities. As a husky mix (we think) she does get bored, so she would love to be in a home where her family is present most of the time and she can have mentally stimulating activities.  May 13, 2024, 3:42 pm

Story
***Please see our Instagram page: @runningdogrescue and Heart highlight button for more pictures and videos of her*** Heart's road to recovery is going well! Her hair will take time to grow back, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't start the search for her forever family. This sweet girl is an absolute love bug. She loves to snuggle. Although she has the husky look to her, she DOES NOT have the husky energy. She is a very low key girl that is perfectly happy to sit and watch a movie with her person. If you are looking for a mini husky mix without all the crazy, you have found your dog! She has met several dogs, and she has excelled with meeting every single one. She did not care about our cats in the least so would do well living with them as well.

Hi, I am Rouge. I am a sweet, loving and gentle lady looking for a home. I like to play with balls, plushies and my son Buck. I am looking for a home where I can stay with Buck as we are bonded. Buck can be scared of other dogs so we need a home as your only pups. I can be shy and fearful when first meeting new people but once given time and understanding I will seek cuddles and love. We would love to meet you and become a part of your family.

Story
Rosie is a very shy girl and is still feeling a little scared of humans. She does like to be pet and having her neck scratched. Her personality shows when she gets outside and argues with the squirrels but it takes a little while for her to get used to coming inside the house. Rosie has seen a lot in her life and has some trust issues with humans. She has never shown any aggression and will melt when she gets brushed or pet. Like her siblings, she will take some time adjusting to a new home and may never totally come out of her shell. She would be good in a home with a fenced yard or warm outside space and no cats. Rosie came into rescue with her two friends, who are also female chow mixes. All three were very scared of humans and refused to even be touched. Again, there was no aggression - but they would run away in fear if humans tried to approach. They have been fostered with our director's family for last couple of years while they have gone through a very slow introduction to the good side of humans. While they are now ready to find their forever homes, they do need adopters who are willing to take the time to win their trust and won't expect them to be going for walks around the neighborhood anytime soon. These girls can only go to homes with fully fenced backyards and very patient humans. These girls will not be attending our adoption events and will require meet and greets at the foster's home. ADOPTION FEE: $75 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Story
Sammy is so sweet! She had a rough beginning and has come a very long way learning how to be a dog and trusting humans. She went from cowering in corners and kennels to spinning excitedly when we greet her in the morning. Sammy has never showed any aggression to humans and just melts when getting brushed. She is full of curiosity and loves exploring and chasing the squirrels. Sammy will take some time and patience from a special human to get used to her surroundings and will need a fenced yard as she is not very comfortable on a leash. She will do best in a home by herself and no cats. Sammy came into rescue with her two friends, who are also female chow mixes. All three were very scared of humans and refused to even be touched. Again, there was no aggression - but they would run away in fear if humans tried to approach. They have been fostered with our director's family for last couple of years while they have gone through a very slow introduction to the good side of humans.
