Meet Akon! This handsome 8 year old Pomsky is looking for a place to call home after losing his dad earlier this year. He is currently staying with family who love him very much but, sadly, they can not keep him. Akon is a really sweet boy. He's happy hanging out with his human, going for walks and chewing on his favorite bone while watching a good show on TV..... while resting his head on their lap. :) Akon is over 30 pounds now, but this gorgeous blue eyed boy has increased his daily steps so he can get back to his ideal 20 - 25 pound weight. A few less snacks and a few more carrots are helping as well. I have had him since he was a baby! He has been raised in a loving home environment from day one.He is a gorgeous, purebred Siberian Husky teenager. He has all that beautiful Husky charm but is growing into a wonderfully balanced boy. ​ Affecionate,Playful, Gentle, and Calm. My boy is truly special. He is incredibly sweet and has a remarkably calm, gentle soul. He absolutely adores people and completely loves children, he is patient, kind, and loves being part of the family action. He is also a smart boy who already knows his basic commands, including how to sit and give you his paw .He balances his playful Husky energy with a wonderful ability to settle down and just be a loving companion. Because he is a young Husky, we are looking for a home that understands and loves the breed. He would thrive with a family, couple, or individual who has the time to give him lots of affection. A home with a secure yard or an active owner who can keep his mind and body happy would be perfect.
