Story
Cooper : 9-Year-Old Husky Looking for an Adult-Only Home Cooper is a sweet, vocal 9-year-old husky who loves pets and attention. He enjoys staying active and has lots of personality. He has lived peacefully with a small Yorkie for years, though his behavior with other dogs is unknown and would require slow introductions. He would do best in an adult-only home, as he can be too rowdy for young children. He can be territorial over high-value items like bones or toys when in his crate, so a dog-experienced owner is ideal. Cooper is a loyal and affectionate companion who will thrive in a calm, structured home with someone who understands his needs. Ideal Home: Adults only (no children) Dog-experienced owner preferred Calm, structured environment Willing to manage resource guarding appropriately If you're looking for a devoted husky who will talk back, enjoy activity, and appreciate a peaceful, loving home, Cooper could be the perfect match.

Story
I have had Dakota for about 7 years. He was a rescue and estimated to be about 4 years old at the time, making him around 11-12 years old now. He loves to be around people, he is good with children, he gets along well with other dogs of any size and cats too! He would do very well in a home with someone home most of the day. All he wants to do is hang out with you and go on a walk or two each day. He is very low maintenance, and spends most of his time being a lazy bones, with an occasional burst of energy for playing or a quick run around the yard (but not for very long). We are moving and unfortunately cannot take him with us, I am hoping to find a good home for him to live out his last years
