YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi, I’m Taryn!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me.  I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot!  Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own – where I can love and be loved furever!  I hope to meet them very soon!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and I needed some time to warm up to them, but once I did, I liked them.  I can be vocal when playing and meeting other dogs.  It helped when I had a few visits with the same dog, so if you have a nice, patient doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over, and kids should not hug me (as I don’t like to feel restrained).    • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a friendly, active, happy, and fun dog.  I love nothing more than I love people!  I was very sweet and handled my bath, and nail trim well.  I am a bit vocal when I see other dogs or people and fast movements or loud noises may startle me, but I recover quickly.  / Energy level: 4-6.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good.  In the prison/foster training program, I didn’t need a crate and enjoyed sleeping outside of it.  / My potty habits were good in the off-site training program I was in, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too! • LIKES/DISLIKES: Spending time with the volunteers is my favorite thing, and I’ll gladly soak up all the attention, pets, and affection you have to give.  I also like playing with toys, and I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we’ll enjoy doing together in my new home. / Other than other dogs and restraint for my vetting, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I wasn’t a fan of being restrained during vetting, so a muzzle may be helpful during my vetting.  I’m a fun-loving gal looking for a wonderful family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 21, 2026, 6:47 am

‘EASTER’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 5 months / Approx. 27 lbs. & growing  Hi there!  I’m one of the adorable Easter-themed puppies who came to Mostly Mutts from animal control along with my siblings.  I was adopted for a couple of months, but my family stated that they were moving and couldn’t take me with them, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for my furever family!  I’m hopeful and looking forward to lots of good times with my family – perhaps you?  I've been selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience off-site and am learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I loved my siblings and the other dogs I met at Mostly Mutts.  My former owner also reported that I liked the dogs I met while I was with them, so if you have a dog that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I recently met two nice 6-year-old boys at Mostly Mutts, and I was quite unsure and fearful of them, although I did not show any aggression.  I think older teens 15+ would be a better match for me - let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I was nervous when I was returned to Mostly Mutts because I understandably didn’t know what had happened, but I’m already showing that I can adjust with a little time and patience.  Once I settled in, I warmed up nicely and showed everyone what a happy, sweet pup I am.  Like most youngsters, I’m still in the puppy chewing phase of life, so I’ll need a family that’s ready to puppy-proof our home and help guide me as I learn what’s mine to chew and what isn’t! / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ command so far and I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend.  Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together. / My former owner reported that I was crate trained. / My potty manners are coming along, though I’ll need my new family to finish potty training me.  • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love running around and playing with toys and having fun and I enjoy some good walks in a quieter environment at the moment, too.  I just know we’ll have lots of fun together in my new home, and I can’t wait to discover all the adventures we’ll share. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed.     If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    June 21, 2026, 6:47 am

Story
Leo is 3 year old mixed breed who’s full of spirit. He is in-love with kids, adults, and gets along great with other dogs! Due to a new job field, I am no longer able to give my sweet boy the time he deserves. I am searching for a loving and caring family to take my amazing dog home! Once you meet him, you will understand why you must have him! He’s amazing in so many different ways and it breaks my heart to have to let him go. Leo is my depression dog and we all know what that does to our hearts! I hope once my sweet boy finds a new home, his new owners allow me to ask about him from time to time. Some of Leo’s fun facts are he loves hiking, dog parks, watching you cook, home trained, sit, stand, stay, high fives and extremely protective but in a good friendly way!! Price listed also includes any left over food I have for him, cage, doggy trash bags, and etc. He is also good to go with all his shots and does great at the doctors!
