‘EASTER’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 4-5 months old / Approx. 25 lbs. & growing Hi there!  I’m one of the adorable Easter-themed puppies who came to Mostly Mutts from animal control along with my siblings.  I was adopted for a month, but my family realized that they were not ready for all that comes with raising a puppy, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts in a wonderful foster home.  I’m looking forward to finding my furever home!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I loved my siblings, the other dogs I met at Mostly Mutts, as well as the dogs I met while in my former adoptive home, so if you have a dog that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over.              • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a delightful pup who looks a bit like a little black baby bear!  I’m very sweet, happy, fun, and playful, and I was especially brave during my bath, showing off my confident little personality. / Energy level:  5-7.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  l don’t have any commands mastered yet, but let's do some training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs!  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I did well in my crate in my former adoptive home. / My potty manners are coming along, though there are still accidents, so I’ll need my family to keep me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty manners. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  My photo shoot was a blast – I loved running, playing with the toys, and having fun!  The photographer said I’m “all puppy,” so I just know we’ll have lots of fun together in my new home, and I can’t wait to discover all the adventures we’ll share. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    April 26, 2026, 6:57 pm

Story
SWEET, FUN & ADORABLE:  Approx. 9 years old / Approx. 15 lbs. Hi there, I’m Darwin!  I’m a darling fellow who somehow found myself at animal control, and I’m so grateful to be in the Mostly Mutts family now.  I’m loving my time with the wonderful volunteers and can’t wait to meet the family who will call me their own!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did not like them, so I’ll want to be your only dog. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a very sweet, curious, handsome boy who’s as lovable as they come! I’m friendly, playful, fun, and active, with a little vocal flair when I’m playing.  I was great for my photoshoot and showed just how charming I am, and during my bath, I was calm, gentle, and stood quietly in the tub, even sighing in deep satisfaction during the rub, scrub, and rinse.  I’m a fluffy, delightful boy that you will love. / Energy level: 5-7.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘place’ and ‘shake’ commands and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well at the shelter with my crate manners. / My potty manners have been good at the shelter with very few accidents.  I do however mark things, but I have just been neutered, so with time and training, this should improve. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love being petted, playing, and spending time with the nice volunteers.  I’m sure once I’m settled into my new home, we’ll discover even more things we’ll enjoy together! / Other than dogs, I haven’t shown any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I just had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again – but not in the talking-back kind of way.  Like all dogs that are a little bit older, I'm on a good over-the-counter joint supplement called Cosequin that I should stay on. I’m a sweet and fun-loving little dog looking for a wonderful family that will cherish me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  April 26, 2026, 6:57 pm

Story
YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi, I’m Shellie!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m sure happy to be here and thankful for a second chance at living a great life!  I’m ready to find my new family and have some fun as well as show them what a great companion I’ll be. I was adopted for a few days, but it wasn’t a good fit as I did not like the cat and I need to work on my food and toy possessiveness which I’m doing now with my trainer.  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and did not like the females, but did well with the males, so if you have a male dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I met a cat in a temporary home, and we learned that I should not live with cats due to my strong prey drive. (No cats were harmed in this discovery.) / There was an 11-year-old in my foster home, and I did great with them (they knew not to take things away from me), but more mature kids - aged 15+ that will follow the rules that work for me would be best, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My former foster described me as a loving friend who gave lots of kisses and was also a bit ‘mouthy’ like a puppy! I was delightful for the Mostly Mutts photographer as I showed how much I enjoyed cuddling and being in a lap. A very sweet and lovable friend, I’m looking forward to showering my family with love! I am a bit possessive of my food, toys and anything in my mouth and there was 1 bite related to this, so I’ve been working on it with my trainer, who has implemented controlled locations for my meals, as well as accompanying commands – so please just ask about this. My trainer also taught me the command ‘drop it’ to trade my toys and bones for a high value treat.  / Energy level: 6-8, so I’ll want to be active with my new family. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so, I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. My trainer is working with me on my possessive behaviors as there was 1 bite related to this.  I’ve since learned to trade a toy for a treat and my trainer would be happy to talk to and work with you on this.  Mostly Mutts recommends a trainer to continue my training after adoption. / I am described as pretty relaxed in my crate and I did well in my two temp. homes, too. / I did really well with my potty manners in my foster home with no accidents as well as two temp. homes I was in for a few days.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love going for walks, playing with toys, chasing tennis balls, cuddling and being in laps as well as getting my head and ears scratched and my tummy rubbed.  I also like pawing at my people’s feet lol. / I can be a little shy when first meeting new people, so I do best when given time to approach at my own pace — if rushed, I may choose to run and hide.  See personality/skills section of my profile and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love that will follow the rules that have been established to help me be successful! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  April 26, 2026, 6:57 pm
