HI - I'M MISTO! I am a young (about a year and a half old) husky-shepherd mix (maybe with some Australian Cattle Dog thrown in) rescued from a crowded California shelter. I was terrified there -- I mean really scared. I wouldn't even come up to greet people. But after a few days out of there, my sunshine personality came out! I'm a loving, dog-friendly boy who would do well with another dog in the home, or as an only dog, too. I love to play and am happy! Change is a bit scary for me so I would do well with both a patient and active person, who could take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I have the most beautiful blue eyes, and I weigh about 50 lbs. Please email for an application! I currently need a foster or forever home.

MEET MAYA, a sweet female Husky mix with a heart of gold and lots of love to give! She has waited about a year for a new home, for no fault of her own as she's great! Maya is a friendly, affectionate, gentle, loyal, playful, and smart 4-1/2-year-old girl with an adventurous spirit. She loves human attention and affection, and does well with other dogs. She would do well with an active person or people who can take her on walks, hikes and other outings, and give her the love she so deserves. Maya weighs about 64 lbs. MEET BASS & TENOR! This happy and loving duo has waited much too long for a home. They are a loving, fun pair of playful dogs who need a foster or forever home! They are very affectionate toward people, and love, love, love each other. They are likely brothers, who found themselves at a crowded California shelter with no adoption interest. Fortunately they were rescued but still haven't found a home yet. They must be adopted together as they are extremely bonded. Both are almost 7 years old. Bass, the brown-and-white pup, weighs only 55 lbs., and Tenor (tan and white) weighs about 60 lbs. They are fun, active pups who love to run, play and snuggle. They would love to be adopted by someone who could take them on hikes, walks and other outings. They currently play with each other for entertainment but it'd be great for them to branch out and see the world. Bass & Tenor love to jump up and give kisses. They are not super friendly with other dogs, so should be the only dogs in the home - but they have plenty of love to give and will be grateful to whomever adopts them.
