Hi, I’m Tuka 💛 I’m a 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd/Malamute mix, and I’m looking for a patient, loving home to call my own. I came to the shelter through no fault of my own, and while I’m safe now, I’m still learning that the world can be a kind and gentle place. I’ll be honest—I can be a little shy when we first meet. New people and new places make me nervous, so I might need some time to warm up. But if you’re patient with me and let me go at my own pace, I promise I’m worth it. Once I feel comfortable, my true personality starts to shine. I’m a gentle, proper lady with a silly side that comes out when I’m happy and relaxed. I really love being around my people and thrive on human connection—it just takes me a little time to trust. One of my favorite things is being outside. I enjoy going on walks, and I walk phenomenally on a leash (if I do say so myself!). Exploring the world with someone I trust is one of the best feelings. Even though I’m not a puppy anymore, I’m still learning. I’m figuring out that new faces can be friendly and that routines help me feel safe. Once I recognize my people and settle into a routine, that’s when I truly blossom into the loving, loyal companion I’m meant to be.

Meet Stormy — your blonde, blue-eyed bundle of zoomies💙 This shepherd–husky mix is sunshine wrapped in fluff, with energy for days and a personality that keeps life interesting. She’s super puppy-like, loves to play, and fully believes every moment is the perfect moment for fun. Loud noises can make her pause and say, “Um… what was THAT?” — but she adjusts quickly with a little reassurance. She’s smart and eager, but will need continued training and structure to help her grow into her best self. True to her husky roots, Stormy may have a touch of escape-artist curiosity, so a secure yard and watchful eye are a must. She can also get over-excited and start “talking smack” — this girl is not a quiet one! Expect sass, commentary, and dramatic storytelling. We’re unsure how she does with other dogs, cats, or kids — but we’re happy to give it a shot with proper introductions. Stormy would thrive in an active home ready for adventures, laughter, and a little lovable chaos. If you’re looking for a fun, spirited sidekick with stunning blue eyes and lots to say, Stormy’s your girl 💙
