ARLO 2-Year-Old Alaskan Husky/Pit Bull Mix 🚨 I AM FULLY DEAF 🚨 Arlo is a friendly, active, cuddly, and playful boy who doesn't let being deaf slow him down one bit. At around 2 years old, this handsome Alaskan Husky/Pit Bull mix has learned to communicate through hand signals and already understands several signs. While we're not sure exactly how many commands he knows, it's clear that Arlo is a smart dog who has had training and enjoys working with his people. Arlo enjoys the company of both men and women, though he tends to bond more quickly with women. He does well with children and other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for many different types of families. Cats are not a good fit for Arlo, and his behavior around livestock and fowl is unknown. This adventurous boy loves hikes, swimming, and trips to the beach. Whether he's exploring a trail or relaxing after a day of fun, Arlo is happiest when he's with his people. He is house trained and crate trained, but if left alone outside of his crate, he may find his own entertainment by chewing on household items. Arlo will thrive in a home that provides consistency, patience, and continued training. Because he is deaf, he relies on visual communication and will need an owner who is willing to learn his hand signals and understand his unique way of experiencing the world.
