Story
Jackie is a 1 year old husky/poodle mix, weighing about 40lbs.Jackie is a sweet girl who loves to be outdoors and loves other dogs. She'd love to have siblings! Her favorite things are butt scratches and tummy rubs. She is fearful of men but can warm up to them. She has never been aggressive toward anyone. She is people shy but if you're happy to see her, she's happy to see you!She loves to play chase and rough house with other dogs, but never aggressively. She's great on leash, and only pulls if she spots a small animal. Her coat doesn't need much maintenance, just a quick brush and maybe a trim around the mouth and eyes on occasion.She was surrendered to a shelter by a backyard breeder who treated her very poorly. Once she comes out of her shell, she has a vibrant personality. She is very smart, and learns quickly. She is crate trained, house trained, and knows most basic commands. All of her belongings will go with her!

Stella is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. She currently lives an apartment but would do best in a house with a yard, so she can run around. She is good with people and other animals but can be a little scared off first, but quickly warms up to them. She plays with other dogs daily and does great.
