This lively guy is always on the move, exploring the world around him with endless curiosity and enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you active and entertained, Pudge is your boy!Full of energy and charm, Pudge has a playful, sometimes “on-the-go” style and a short attention span that just makes him all the more endearing. He already knows how to sit on command and shows great potential for learning more with continued training and consistency.One of Pudge’s favorite activities? Bath time! He loves splashing around and turns it into a fun experience for everyone involved. He’s also very people-oriented and is always excited to meet new friends, greeting everyone with his happy, outgoing nature.Pudge would do best with an active family who can keep up with his energy level and help him continue to learn and grow. With a little guidance and a lot of love, this fun-loving pup is sure to become a loyal and joyful companion.Come meet Pudge and see if he’s the perfect match for your home! 🐾ADOPTION FEE: LOCAL $100 NON-LOCAL $140All dogs receive at least 1 distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccine. If possible, a heartworm test will be done, and if negative, the dog will be started on heartworm prevention. All animals receive flea and parasite prevention/treatment and will be microchipped.All animals can go home the same day as adoption. We will need your photo ID, and you will sign some documents. Adopters will also receive a copy of the animal's medical history to date. We do not do an application process. All adoptions are first-come, first-served. We do not offer holds.In most cases, we do not require that adopters bring all their family members and dogs to a meet-and-greet. But we do highly encourage it. We are happy to introduce the new dog to your dog(s) at the shelter. No appointment necessary.We do offer home trials for dogs over 6 months old for about a week. You will not need to pay the adoption fee (spay-neuter deposit) ahead of time, but if you decide to adopt, you will need to return to the shelter to complete the paperwork and pay the adoption deposit. If you do not wish to complete the adoption, you can bring the dog back at any time during normal business hours during your home trial period. We do not allow after hours drop off.
