Boo is a tricky story. She was saved with her sister as a baby off a farm when they ran free from the start of life. At eight weeks old, we took her and her sister in. She was very timid, hence the name Boo, and appears to be the runt. She is afraid of a lot of things. She does not like being on a lead and paces in her kennel due to anxiety. She has started Prozac, but we were told it could take a month or so to take full effect. She likes to bury her head in your lap and receive pets. If you are patient and looking for a dog that will love you forever and be right beside you, Boo is your girl. She is an indoor dog and will always need to be outside on a lead, in a tall fence, or learn to be leashed. She is a special girl and well worth the effort. A much quieter environment will make a world of difference.

Hi! My name is Max. I came in with my brother Marley. I am very sweet and loving. I can be goofy at times. I do love the outdoors to run and play. I do well on leash. I also like walks around the block. I do fine with other dogs but do require a meet and greet. I don't know about cats at this time. Kids I should be fine around them. I am ready for my new home.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm.
