Story
Kiara is a 5-month-old Husky mix with a bright personality and an even bigger heart. This beautiful girl got a second chance at life after ending up on the euthanasia list at Memphis Animal Services with a 9 AM deadline. We were able to pull her just minutes before her time was up, and now she is searching for the forever family she almost never got the chance to meet. Kiara is everything you would expect from a young puppy. She is sweet, friendly, affectionate, and always ready for fun. She loves meeting new people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and approaches life with the happy, curious attitude that makes puppies so special. She is the type of dog who can turn an ordinary day into an adventure just by being part of it. As a Husky mix, Kiara is an active and energetic girl who will thrive with a family willing to keep her mind and body engaged. Whether it is going for walks, playing in the yard, exploring new places, or learning new tricks, she is always ready to be involved. She loves attention and enjoys being around her people. Kiara is dog friendly and does well with other dogs. At only 5 months old, she is also young enough to learn how to live successfully with cats and children when given proper introductions, guidance, and structure. She is still at an age where experiences and training will help shape the amazing adult dog she is going to become. Like any puppy, Kiara is not a finished product. Her future family should be prepared for the commitment that comes with raising a young dog. Puppies require patience, consistency, training, and supervision. House training, basic obedience, leash manners, and continued socialization are all important parts of helping her grow into a confident and well-mannered companion. The time and effort invested now will pay off for years to come. Kiara has already overcome more in her short life than any puppy should have to. She beat the odds and now deserves a family that will give her the love, stability, and commitment she needs to thrive. Kiara is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to find her forever home. Located in Richmond, Kentucky.

Story
This 10–11 year old Pomeranian is looking for a loving home where he can spend his golden years exactly how he deserves: being spoiled, eating snacks, demanding pup cups in the drive thru, and staying glued directly to his favorite person at all times. Pickles absolutely adores his humans and fully believes personal space is optional. He is affectionate, hilarious, and full of tiny grumpy grandpa energy wrapped up in a fluffy little body. Pickles thrives in calm environments where he can relax and enjoy retirement in peace. He would do best in a home with older, respectful, dog-savvy children or in a home without children altogether. While he enjoys companionship, he appreciates boundaries and prefers housemates who understand that retirement means relaxing, not constant chaos. He is scared of large dogs but does well with smaller respectful dogs that leave him alone and mind their business. The same goes for cats. Pickles is perfectly happy to coexist as long as his roommates respect his space and do not annoy him for entertainment. If they cross the line, he has no problem expressing his opinions through dramatic old man complaints and hilarious little gremlin noises. Pickles does excellent in his kennel, even though he acts like being kenneled is the most tragic event to ever occur. He does wear a belly band in the home and settles into routines very well. This little guy is extremely food motivated and takes mealtime very seriously. He will spin in circles, make ridiculous gremlin sounds, and throw a full celebration the second snacks are involved. Some of his favorite things in life are pup cups, tortillas, bread, naps, and being babied. He also knows how to “sit,” mostly because he understands there is usually food involved. Pickles is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Located in Richmond, Kentucky.
