Story
We are putting out one last plea for anyone that would like to foster or adopt one of these sweet dogs that we rescued from being shot to death a year ago. They are fully vetted and current on everything. We had originally been told they were shepherd pups and had a couple fosters lined up to take that were experienced handlers. When it was discovered they were not shepherds, they backed down. Both dogs came in with head and jaw lacerations, emaciated, and one was afraid to step over new threshold. Dublin is eager to learn new things and gets along well with his brother Kolton, but does not need to be adopted together with him. Dublin needs a home without small animals

Both dogs came in with head and jaw lacerations, emaciated, and one was afraid to step over new thresholds. They are crate trained, but they do have some anxiety barking in new situations. They will also bark if they hear someone that they don’t recognize or just to get the attention of a known person when first entering. Kolton is extremely people oriented but is having a hard time being trained not to jump. He is very treat-oriented, so he just needs consistency in his training which is difficult when multiple people interact and aren’t consistent and firm. If interested, please let us know as soon as possible. These dogs do not need to go together.
