Story
Hi, I'm Minnie. Aka Minnie Mouse, Momma Mouse, Mouse Mouse. I have many nicknames!! I'm a young husky from the south that landed in Michigan after busting out of a shelter with my babies. We stayed cozy and worked on ourselves this winter and are ready to join our forever families just in time for spring! Don't you want a walking buddy before it gets REALLY nice out there? My foster family has said that I'm the sweetest and quietest husky they have ever met. They have yet to hear me give them a "real" howl, whatever that means. They say that maybe I will someday, maybe I won't. Like most huskies, I do love to do zoomies in their fenced backyard, I love walks, and they say that I "hoard" the toys, whatever that means. I've been working on joining my foster family's adult dogs, there's 2 of them and 1 of me so it can be a little intimidating, but we've all had cozy couch time and when they leave we can all see each other from our kennels. I like being able to see the other dogs from my kennel, after all, huskies are social creatures, when I was in a kennel in a separate room I didn't like that as much.  I walk nicely on a leash, on group walks I want to be the lead dog, so I show my excitement a bit more. When I'm on a one on one walk they say I don't pull and am easily redirected if I see something exciting like a squirrel. I'm working on kennel time, and have started to go to my kennel on my own when I want to relax. They also say I haven't touched anything that's not mine, like shoes or books so I could probably free range in your home depending on the situation. I sleep all night either in my kennel at the foot of the bed or some nights in the bed, foster parents are pretty cool like that   I've met some kids and they seem cool, but I don't live with any right now so might need time to adjust if you're adding me to a family with human kiddos. Sometimes when I'm excited to see my people, I come up to say hello asap, so bigger kids might be better than the little little ones.  As a husky, I might be a little too interested in small animals, hard to say with 100% certainty because I don't live with any now. We did see a squirrel on a recent walk and I had some hunter thoughts until I got distracted by something else.  Anyway, that's a bit about me! I'm excited to meet you because I LOVE people!! We love this sweet girl, she's affectionate and playful and we have been honored to help herget ready to meet her forever family. ##2619827##

Story
Daisy will be hanging out at our Adoption Event this Sunday 3/22/26 from 10am to 12pm.  Our Address is 3276 E Jolly Road (Suite B) Lansing, MI.  RSVP and let us know you are coming here:  https://www.happyfeetpetrescue.com/events   Hello, I'm Daisy!!  My foster family says I am such a sweet Daisy girl who loves to snuggle as much as I love to play, they say I seem pretty smart, which is I am currently working really hard on potty training and learning how to walk on a leash. I'm at least half husky, so my ideal forever family will want to go on walks and adventures with me, and be sure they have a good deshedding brush for seasonal coat changes.  I love to play with toys, especially fetch and tug of war and I love to run around the yard between my foster parents - it is the best way to get my energy out! I'm so looking forward to joining my forever family, please apply to meet me! ##2642549##
