Hi I’m Lando! Lando is a 2 year old Husky/Malinois Mix. He’s energetic, loving and an expert at keeping your yard safe from squirrels and moles! He loves spending his days outside, running, lounging in the grass, or just sitting next to you on the porch. With lots of love and patience, he has come out of his shell and went from a pup scared of other dogs and men, to a socialized dog that loves to play and say hello to everyone. He is kennel trained and goes to his area happily. He plays well with other dogs, but takes a bit to warm up. He is wonderful with kids, and gets along great with cats as well. We feel he would do well with a family that owns some land so he can run around freely and explore. He’s a wonderful dog and we would love for him to go to a home where he can thrive. Story
This dog is so special and loving. If there were anyway I could keep him I would. Wonderful with other animals and LOVES children. Completely house trained and kennel/crate trained. He prefers to sleep in a kennel I think he feels more secure that way. Knows basic commands but his recall game is weak. I have had him since he was old enough to be away from mama.

Story
We adopted Leo from a pet adoption event when he was younger. Initially expecting an Australian Shepard. He is actually border collie and husky mix. He is extremely high energy. Requires a lot of mental stimulation if he doesn’t have work that is stimulating enough. Walking is not sufficient for him. He needs true stimulation which is why our home ended up not being the right fit. He is crate trained, very friendly. He has obvious herding instincts so keep this in mind if you have children that like to run wild. He will attempt to herd them. He’s not aggressive by any means. He is very intelligent and knows when he maybe crossed a line. He should go to a home that is highly active and able to do collie work or farm where he can have a true job. He is under a year old so although he is mixes of silly and shy, he will be easy to train. No problems with resource guarding at all. Very used to children tugging on him. Loves chasing cats, will not hurt them. Just playful.
