Story
Bosco is your ready-made adventure buddy—the kind of dog who’s always up for hitting the trail and exploring the world by your side. He’s currently enjoying daily hikes and thrives in an active lifestyle where he can burn energy and stay engaged.Like a true husky, Bosco has a big personality to match his good looks. He’s expressive, vocal, and not shy about “talking” to you—sometimes with a little mouthiness when he’s trying to communicate.Bosco is social, active, and enjoys being around both people and other dogs. He gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion or regular play opportunities. He’s affectionate in his own husky way and bonds with his people, but he’s not a couch potato—he’s happiest when he has something to do and somewhere to go.Bosco is still working on some common husky habits, including jumping and mouthiness. His recall is improving every day, which is a great sign of his ability to learn and respond to training. He will do best with:-A structured home environment-Continued, consistent training-A commitment to professional training support-Plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulationBecause of his mouthy play style and energy level, we would not recommend a home with young children.Previously lived in a home with cats, but is not currently being fostered with them, so slow introductions and management would be importantBosco is looking for an active home that understands and appreciates the husky breed. He needs someone who will embrace his energy, continue his training, and provide the structure he needs to succeed. If you’re looking for a hiking partner, trail companion, and a dog with a fun, talkative personality, Bosco might just be your perfect match. Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped.
