Found husky mix brought to the precinct. (I’m a police officer). I took him home to spare him from the shelter. Got his shots up to date. Got him neutered. Dog is very friendly, affectionate, and energetic. He is roughly 3 years old. He has an unknown past and can be a little scared and/or aggressive towards vet visits, muzzling and things of the sort. Most of the time he is a very sweet dog and can do with just a little behavioral training. Before neutering he used to get hyper focused on other dogs, especially females and would sometime showing warning aggression signs from getting between him, since his neutering this behavior has for the most part stopped. Very smart and all around a good dog who doesn't deserve to be abandoned again or dropped at a shelter.

This is really hard for me to write, but I’m looking to find a loving new home for my dog, Kodie. He’s an incredibly sweet, friendly, high-energy ball of fur who’s brought so much joy into my life. Back in 2018, my younger sister convinced my mom to get him, but she was too young to take on the responsibility. I stepped in to help, and what started as temporary turned into me caring for him for the past 6 years. At the time I worked from home, but since 2023 my schedule and living situation have changed a lot. I’m now in the office most of the day, and I know in my heart he deserves more time, attention, and space than I can give him. I love him, which is why I want better for him. If you or someone you know can give Kodie a loving, active home, please reach out.
