Story
Im looking to rehome my 4 year old girl, her name is Luna she is a very happy and loving dog.She is a very energetic dog, really gentle with kids.Unfortunately I have to move out from the place I leave and it would be very difficult to rent an apartment or place with a large dog and a toddler. So I would love to find a good family that will take good care of her.

Story
"Morrison" | Tag #2129 | Husky | Neutered male | 2 years old Morrison is a 2-year-old Husky with a big grin and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is happiest when he’s outside, whether he’s playing in the snow, exploring on walks, or enjoying a good game of fetch. Morrison is a playful, social pup who loves making new dog friends and would thrive in a home where he can have regular playdates and outdoor adventures. He knows basic commands and is eager to please, but like many huskies, he can be a bit stubborn so he’s looking for an experienced Husky owner who understands the breed’s temperament and energy level. With the right person, he’ll be the perfect companion for outdoor adventures and cozy nights in after a full day of fun. If you’re ready for lots of laughs and adventures, Morrison is ready to meet you! Interested in adopting? Please call the Shelter at (631) 224-5660 or email us at AnimalShelter@islipNY.gov with the name of the pet your interested in adopting.

Story
Aspen is a 3-year-old male Siberian Husky who came to the shelter as a stray and is still learning that he’s safe. He can be a bit unsure at first, but with gentle encouragement he’s easy to handle and settles back in without trouble. Aspen offers soft, sweet eye contact and, while shy, clearly wants to be near people. This sensitive boy can get nervous with touch and may shake when he’s scared, but he remains tolerant and allows handling. He isn’t quite ready for playtime yet and isn’t interested in toys right now he’s more focused on taking things in at his own pace. On leash, Aspen walks nicely with no major pulling, making strolls together calm and enjoyable. Aspen would do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can help build his confidence. Aspen would be a good fit for a home with teenagers who can respect his boundaries and move calmly around him.If you are interested in learning more contact our placement team at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter:E: Adoption@hempsteadny.govE: Foster@hempsteadny.govE: Rescue@hempsteadny.govT. 516.785.5220#adoption #adoptme #newyorkadoptables #opttoadopt #mixedbreed #lovemydog #dogsofnewyork #longislandanimalshelter #animalshelters #cutepup #puppy #dog #doggo #rescuedog #rescue #rescued #ideserveachance #ideservelove #goodpup
