Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Lumi is a vibrant young husky mix with a sparkling personality and a heart full of adventure. At just under a year old and 38 pounds, she’s the perfect size to join you on life’s journeys, whether that’s a scenic hike, a playful afternoon in the yard, or a cozy evening relaxing together. Lumi has a wonderful medium energy level, happily running and playing when it’s time for fun, then settling into a calm, peaceful companion when the day winds down. Her playful spirit shines brightest when she has a ball to chase or a dog friend to romp with. Lumi absolutely loves fetch and will proudly bring her favorite toys to share, always ready for the next round of fun. She also has the charming “husky talk” and striking two different eye colors that make her truly unforgettable. Her goofy antics, joyful enthusiasm, and expressive personality bring laughter and warmth wherever she goes. Lumi enjoys car rides, walks beautifully on leash, and bonds deeply with her people. She’s affectionate, loyal, and thrives when included as part of the family. She would do especially well in an active home where she can enjoy regular exercise, outdoor adventures, and continued positive training to help her reach her full potential. Lumi will require close supervision in the yard as true to her Husky nature; she is prone to escape to go explore.  With her intelligence, playful heart, and loving nature, Lumi is ready to become someone’s devoted companion and best friend for years to come.  Interested in adopting? COURTESY LISTINGZeus is a courtesy listing, not in the AARF foster program, and we are posting online to help the owner find a home for them. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Zeus is a 6-year-old Husky mix with a big heart and a playful, goofy personality. He’s friendly, loving, and great with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. Zeus has a moderate-to-high energy level and does best when he gets regular walks—after that, he’s all about cuddles and quality time. This sweet boy is fully housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go outside by crying and pacing. He’s also crate trained and does very well, staying quiet unless he needs a bathroom break. Zeus knows sit and paw, loves playing with a ball (even if he doesn’t always bring it back!), and has an adorable habit of giving hugs. Zeus enjoys the dog park, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. He’s a bit sensitive and can be scared by loud voices or yelling, so he’ll thrive in a calm, patient home where he feels safe and loved. He does well with children and has lived in a home with cats. Zeus is looking for a loving home that will give him daily walks, gentle reassurance, and plenty of cuddles. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and endless affection.  Interested in adopting?
