Story
Goldie originally came to us after her owner and doggie house mate tragically passed away. A previous foster took her in temporarily but had another dog in the home that she did not get along with, and she has now been with us for about two years.Goldie is a sweet girl who bonds strongly with her people. She can be shy with new people at first, but once she warms up she enjoys being pet and being near her humans. She is house trained, crate trained, and settles nicely in the home.She is playful with other dogs, and does best with calm, neutral, non reactive friends. She currently plays very happily with two dogs in our home who are extremely non-reactive and friendly. Her favorite companion is a fluffy Aussie who she absolutely adores. She seems particularly drawn to bigger, fluffy, easygoing dogs.Goldie loves food and does slightly resource guard food/treats from other dogs, but she has never shown guarding toward people.
