Story
We adopted Albus' mother from a family friend that had zero idea she was pregnant. She had five puppies, and we kept one. After a year of training attempts, he still continues to have issues going to the bathroom outside of the crate, and refuses to leave the side of his mother when outside. He gets very distracted and always wants to play. He's a sweet and loving dog, but he's started being very destructive in the house now that he's a year old. We're in the house extremely often as I work from home, but nothing we've tried over the year stops him from crate wetting, tearing up carpet, eating at our drywall. I'm at my wits end, we've put a lot of patience into this dog and I just want him to end up in a good home.

Briar is a 6 month old, female pit bull/shepherd mix looking for her loving forever family. Briar is currently located in the Houston, Texas area, but can be adopted nationwide! She is one of the last remaining siblings (from a litter of 10!) still available for adoption, and it totally blows our minds, because she is truly one of the calmest, sweetest, and snuggliest of the bunch! Briar is a PERFECT mix of cuddly and playful. She is a quiet puppy who is kennel trained and well on her way to being fully potty trained. She is in a foster home with dogs and kids, and has been exposed to cats as well - nothing seems to faze her! She truly is a wonderful little dog! Wolfie is an 8-pound Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix who has already come a long way, even if his glow-up is still very much under construction! He is estimated 4-5 years old. Wolfie arrived at the shelter severely matted, covered in fleas, and suffering from a painful skin condition. His skin has now been treated, the fleas are gone, and his job is pretty simple: eat good food, grow some fabulous new fur, and learn that he is safe. We'd also like to put a little more weight on his tiny frame.The shelter was a scary place for Wolfie. He was nervous, guarded, and growly when he felt unsure. Once moved into calmer environments, though, we've already started seeing progress. Wolfie isn't a dog who should be rushed into trusting someone. He needs a patient person willing to let him decompress, learn the routine, and decide in his own time that the humans around him are safe.Wolfie also tested positive for heartworms. He has already received a ProHeart injection and doxycycline as part of his treatment plan. He'll need to remain on monthly heartworm prevention and be retested in one year.Right now, Wolfie is a little bit patchy, a little bit skinny, and still figuring everything out. That's okay. We're not looking for someone who needs him to arrive perfectly polished. We're looking for the person who will enjoy watching him get there.Give Wolfie some time, good groceries, a peaceful home, and room to exhale. We think there's a pretty wonderful little dog waiting underneath all those defenses... and soon, hopefully, a whole lot more fluff!Wolfie is currently being fostered in Bryan, Texas, but don't let distance stop you! Nationwide transport to the nearest major city is available for $250.Nationwide transport available, thanks to our Flight Transport partners with SWATT Transport and that flies in cabin with Southwest AirlinesDog adoptions are $250, and if you need nationwide transport, it's an extra $250 for the flight and all materials needed.
