Story
This golden oldie is a lover! Sweet Irene settles in well amongst other dogs and children! She really loves being with her people best and would prefer someone be home often. She is good with cats and dogs, but she is almost 100% deaf.To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

Story
These huskies are sisters and have been together since day one. We can not bear to separate them away from eachother. They have an all day buffet for food and water. They have been outside dogs with numerous fans and portacools during the hot months. If they are let inside due to Bad weather they just sit at the door crying to go back outside. Blue listens pretty good but sky runs away if you try to get close to her to pet her. Blue has an issue with her right ear getting swollen but won’t let us look at it and sky has a tumor looking spot on her right side and won’t let us near her to take her to the vet. We are moving to the country and can’t take them with us unfortunately as we are afraid of coyotes or other animals attacking them. They need to be taken as a pair and not seperated.

Story
These dogs are sisters and have been together since day one. They around roughly 11 years old and need to be rehomed as we are moving to the country and are afraid of coyotes or other animals attacking them. They are outside dogs and have several fans and portacools on them during the hot months to keep them cool along with a misting system. If we let them inside they just cry to go back outside. Blue has an ear issue and sky has some type of tumor or abscess on her right side towards the back. They won’t let us catch them to put leashes on to take them to the vet. Blue is a little better and will allow a leash from time to time. They are very sweet dogs and we hate to get rid of them but I think someone else may be able to provide a better life for them. Story
Meet Ranger, a stunning husky with a heart of gold who simply adores everyone he meets. He had no trouble getting along with the dog, cat, and children in his previous home and has also won over the hearts of the volunteers at AAR. Like most huskies, Ranger is an active breed and will require plenty of exercise and a securely fenced yard to keep him happy and healthy. He is eagerly waiting to become an integral part of a loving family where he can share his affection and loyalty with his new human companions.Est. DOB: 7/1/2155 lbs.AAR does not transport for adoption.
