Lakota is a beautiful 4-year-old Siberian Husky with a sharp mind and a gentle soul. She is fully vetted, healthy, and absolutely striking to look at — truly the kind of dog that turns heads everywhere she goes.
She is very shy until she builds trust and gets to know you I believe a very patient. Kind person would be perfect for her.
Lakota does very well with the other large rescue dogs she’s been around and has shown herself to be brave, confident, and respectful. She has not yet been tested with small dogs or cats. Because of her breed, intelligence, and independent nature, she would do best with an experienced Husky owner who understands the needs of this special breed.
She loves her walks and is great on a leash. Running freely in a safe yard and dipping her paws in water are some of her favorite things. Lakota also takes pride in keeping herself clean and looking her best. While she isn’t a big fan of car rides, she makes up for it with her loyal and loving personality once she’s settled.
Lakota would thrive in a home where she can be someone’s top priority — ideally as the only pet — with a family who will give her the time, structure, and love she deserves. She has so much loyalty and love to give to the right person, and she’s patiently waiting for her forever home.
