This is a sweet boy dumped in a random neighborhood. He is a little shy but is friendly. He has not growled, snarled or shown any anger to strangers. Not sure if he is house trained but can learn. He loves to play, run around a yard and just have some fun. He has done well on some walks and loves the freedom to be outside. A routine is best for him to adapt and flourish in a new home. He is ready to find a forever family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

DEXTER IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!    Dexter is an energetic, fun-loving young pup with striking blue eyes and a big personality! This handsome Husky mix is about one year old and absolutely loves meeting new people. Whether it’s going for a walk, running around the yard, or playing with his favorite person, Dexter is always ready for fun and adventure. Dexter would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and attention. When playtime is over, he’s also happy to relax, chew on his favorite bones, and hang out while his person is busy. He is crate-trained and settles down quickly once he’s in his kennel. Dexter is also very treat-motivated, which makes training a fun and rewarding experience. Because he is strong and playful, Dexter would do best in a home without small children. With the right family, he will make a loyal, loving companion full of personality. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate dog who’s ready to be your adventure buddy, Dexter could be the perfect match! He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Dexter up north to his new family.
