Story
We are looking for a loving new home for our sweet dog. This is a very hard decision for our family, and we are not rehoming her because she is a bad dog. With our upcoming move to an apartment, having a crawling baby, a toddler, and limited space, we feel she deserves a home where she can get more attention, space, and the best care. She is a beautiful, loving dog who would do best with a family or person who has time for her, understands her breed, and is prepared for regular grooming/shedding. We want her to go to a safe, stable home where she will be treated as part of the family. We are asking questions and doing careful screening because we love her and want to make sure this is the right fit. A small rehoming fee applies to help ensure serious inquiries only, but the most important thing to us is finding the right home for her. Please message us with a little about yourself, your home, whether you have children or other pets, if you rent or own, and your experience with dogs.

Story
This is Dyna. She’s 3, a Pomsky. She’s not fixed. She’s had her first round of shots. She’s overall a very healthy dog. She’s crate trained and leash trained (she’ll pull a little). She’s very hyper so preferably a family that can spend a lot of time out with her and play with her. She’s fine around cats but other dogs don’t tend to like her. She’s okay to roam around the house but if she’s out by herself she will chew stuff up and sometimes she’ll have an accident but if you have your eye on her she’s fine. She will go in the crate.. she whines a little but she eventually calms down. She’s very friendly towards adults and kids.

Story
I adopted ghost from the SPCA 4 years ago and he has been a wonderful companion. unfortunately I am leaving the country and cannot take him with me. I'm hoping a special person or family will fall in love with him the way I have. he does have a digestive issue that requires him taking Prednisone once a week, and on that day, he pees a lot!!! so the family that wants him will need to be one that is home quite a lot or has a fenced yard for that need. he is not the typical hyper husky, he is laid back, even when he was younger he was chill, but he LOVES going on walks. I take him on 4 or 5 15-20 minute walks a day. I point out other animals to him by name (Mr bunny, Mr squirrel, etc) ... he doesn't not chase after any of them. I truly hope I can find someone that will love him the way I have.

Story
Meet Georgina! Georgina came to us due to no fault of her own and is now ready to find her forever home. She has enjoyed running around with her sister while being here and we think she would like having a canine companion in the home! She likes to play hard and will need a dog that can match all that puppy energy! She is also has loved playing in her pool while here. When meeting new people or canine friends it is always best to do slow introductions to make sure they become BFFs. Georgina will need help with all of her puppy training and manners. This will include crate training, potty training, leash walking, and all of the basics. If you think this sweet girl is the one for you a Kennel Technician will be happy to help!

Story
SNOWBELL arrived at VBACAC as a stray and not only have we already learned a lot about her, we are still learning more every day.One to five years old and tipping the scales around 45 pounds, slender and ACTIVE SNOWBELL is that dog everyone will want to look at. With REMARKABLE two-tone eyes, short, tan fur, and ears that you can see working when they turn towards every sound, Snowbell is a stunning girl.RUNNING and chasing tennis balls - no retrieving though - and getting treats might be her top priorities.SILLY, sweet and devoted to her humans, Snowbell does need time to fully designate you as her human. Trust has to be there and this doesn't take long! Give her the time and space and you'll see! PS Treats help a lot! LOLTalking about TREATS, training to help her get over some of her quirks might also be a way to win over her heart.Snowbell is happiest when she can get all the attention herself. This means no competition with other dogs but instead, she prefers to be an only pet.Come on in and just ask to have staff take you to a yard for your introduction. Let her approach at her own pace. We know Snowbell will sell herself! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 52.2 Age: 2yrs 7mths 4wks
