Story
I adopted ghost from the SPCA 4 years ago and he has been a wonderful companion. unfortunately I am leaving the country and cannot take him with me. I'm hoping a special person or family will fall in love with him the way I have. he does have a digestive issue that requires him taking Prednisone once a week, and on that day, he pees a lot!!! so the family that wants him will need to be one that is home quite a lot or has a fenced yard for that need. he is not the typical hyper husky, he is laid back, even when he was younger he was chill, but he LOVES going on walks. I take him on 4 or 5 15-20 minute walks a day. I point out other animals to him by name (Mr bunny, Mr squirrel, etc) ... he doesn't not chase after any of them. I truly hope I can find someone that will love him the way I have.

Story
SNOWBELL arrived at VBACAC as a stray and not only have we already learned a lot about her, we are still learning more every day.One to five years old and tipping the scales around 45 pounds, slender and ACTIVE SNOWBELL is that dog everyone will want to look at. With REMARKABLE two-tone eyes, short, tan fur, and ears that you can see working when they turn towards every sound, Snowbell is a stunning girl.RUNNING and chasing tennis balls - no retrieving though - and getting treats might be her top priorities.SILLY, sweet and devoted to her humans, Snowbell does need time to fully designate you as her human. Trust has to be there and this doesn't take long! Give her the time and space and you'll see! PS Treats help a lot! LOLTalking about TREATS, training to help her get over some of her quirks might also be a way to win over her heart.Snowbell is happiest when she can get all the attention herself. This means no competition with other dogs but instead, she prefers to be an only pet.Come on in and just ask to have staff take you to a yard for your introduction. Let her approach at her own pace. We know Snowbell will sell herself! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 52.2 Age: 2yrs 8mths 0wks

Story
This little cutie is Boober! Boober came to us from an accidental litter in the home, but it is no accident that you are drawn to her charming personality. Boober knows she has a silly name (Fraggle Rock fans anywhere?!) so she decided to live up to it and just be a silly pup. This girl has lots of energy and loves attention. She would do best with a family who has lots of time to play with her and give her lots of attention. She would probably love an older canine sibling who can match her style and show her the ropes. Slow introductions to new animals and people is always best when bringing home a new pup. Boober is quite a little chow hound so we suggest giving her space when she eats her meals. A slow feeder bowl is also highly recommended (the kennel staff can show you what we use in the shelter). This girl is a husky mix so she can be a bit chatty and howl once in a while, which is something to keep in mind if you have shared walls. Adopters should expect normal puppy behavior and be ready to help this cutie with all of her puppy training. If Boober sounds like the right pup for you, come in and meet her today! **Because of her breeds and potential size adopters should be aware of any breed and size restrictions if they are renting**
