Our pets are fostered and physically located in Mt.Airy, Nc. We are 6 hrs west of VA Beach. You are welcome to come here to pick up. We normally offer 1/2 way delivery for $125 and delivery to VA Beach for $250.00. Transport is on hold due to vehicle issues. Adopt fee $475 Max is a 3 year old Pomsky. He is absolutely a fantastic dog. He is house trained, crate trained. He is wonderful with other dogs and he likes cats. He is great with people as well. He is 49 pounds. Please be aware he will shed. If you can't handle a high maintenance dog that requires grooming please pass max on by. He will go to his home neutered. He is current on heartworm and lyme testing, he is on preventive, he has had all vaccinations, he will be microchipped. The adopter will receive all health records with adoption. Meet Chandler a 6 month old husky mix that came to us from a local transfer partner. Chandler will need a very patient and understanding family as he has little to no socializing or training. We are requiring a single family home so no apartments for this big loud boy! Any children in the home we would recommend 6 and older as he is not aware of personal space just yet and will for sure be a looney tune once he leaves these walls haha (with that, keep in mind behavior is different in a shelter vs. a home setting). He still needs help walking on a leash but the kennel team has been putting in the work to make it a little easier on his future family! He has gotten use to our potty schedule but he is still a puppy and doesn't have the same structure he would in a home so he does still have accidents here and there but is on the right track and will just need you to lay the law down for him! He does really really well with a roommate so if you have another canine in the home he would absolutely love that! We will require all residents in the home to meet prior to adoption and this will include any canines in the home as well. Tas! Quirky husky (if you know Husky you understand). Happy and very active. Has a crooked nose. Good with some dogs but can he rough and other dogs dont always enjoy him. Can be slow to warm up to new people in terms of allowing body handling. No kids.
