Story
Monte is an adorable senior who loves dogs and people. He came from a horrible neglectful situation and now would like the opportunity to enjoy life and his golden years. Monte loves laying in the grass basking in the sun. But his favorite place to sleep is in your bed! He likes to play and run around the yard, his favorite game is chasing after you, a bit of slow motion on his part. Monte will let you know when he needs to go outside but being a bit elderly, he might have a little leak on the way. Monte is looking for a calm home with lots of love and gentle care. We do not know if he has ever been around children so older teens should be ok for him. A gentle calm dog would be a good companion for him. A cat might also be OK. Monty weighs 50#, is house trained (mostly) is current on his vaccinations, micro chipped and is heart worm negative. His adoption fee is $100+tax, If you are interested in meeting/adopting Monte please fill out a dog application on our website. www.hspcwi.org The approved adopter will be notified for an appointment within three days.
