Story
Reishi - 4 yr old, 15 lb mixed breed (Pom/Chihuahua/possible Heeler). Soft fur, calm, affectionate. MUST-HAVES for adopter: Fenced yard (he needs space to run) Work from home/not alone all day Commitment to raw/human-grade diet ONLY (currently fed We Feed Raw, Farmer's Dog, Ollie - no kibble, non-negotiable) No young children (mature kids OK) No large dogs (he's aggressive toward big dogs due to "little man syndrome" - LOVES small dogs) The Good: Sweet, gentle, loves cuddles, crate/leash/house trained, quiet (doesn't bark), zero health issues, would thrive with another small companion dog. The Challenges: Sheds year-round, slips out of collars/harnesses easily, territorial on walks, difficult with nail trims, will overeat if allowed. Rehoming because kids are in college, I want to travel, and some family members are allergic. He deserves a home with more time and attention. I have more thorough details to explain, but given very limited space to write everything on this platform.
