Story
Bear is an 18-month-old purebred Portuguese Water Dog. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Loves to snuggle, doesn’t know how big he is, likes car rides and walks and playing with fellow PWD in the home. Bear would do well with someone who has experience with dogs and dog training. He would prefer a household that doesn't have a lot of coming, and going, or chaos. He needs a consistent, loving home. He needs someone who understands that and can be patient and compassionate to his needs to help him transition successfully to his loving forever home. Bear is trained in basic commands. He can be reactive and mouthy. He needs structured, consistent training. At his first home, he was not properly trained or well socialized. He experiences some anxiety and insecurity. He needs a patient, loving leader to help guide him and offer him some security and confidence.
