Bruce is an 11-month-old pug mix with a big personality packed into his adorable 20 lb frame! Currently living it up in Medicine Hat, this spunky little guy is equal parts playful chaos and cuddly sweetheart. His life motto? Eat, play, nap, repeat. 🐾
Bruce settled into foster care almost instantly and quickly made himself right at home. He’s confident, social, and always ready for his next adventure — whether that’s a game of tug-of-war, wrestling with his dog friends, chasing a ball around the yard, or curling up under a blanket beside his people for a nap. In true Bruce fashion, he prefers his snuggles extra cozy and loves being tucked in like the little prince he is. 🐾
As a young pup, Bruce has lots of energy and would thrive in an active home that can keep both his body and brain busy. Two daily walks and lots of playtime have been perfect for him, and he’s proven to be a smart little guy who already knows commands like sit, leave it, wait, come, and go potty. He’s incredibly food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding — puppy classes would be a great outlet for this eager learner! 🐾
Bruce absolutely loves other dogs and would likely enjoy having a playful canine companion to wrestle and romp around with, though he could also do well as the center of attention in an active home. He has also done well living with a cat, though he occasionally tries to convince them to join his games. He’s crate trained, sleeps through the night, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and handles new environments like a champ. 🐾
Like any puppy, Bruce is still working on a few things. His house training is coming along very well, and he’s learning appropriate puppy manners as he continues to mature. He can get a little mouthy when excited or teething, but redirects nicely with toys and chew treats. 🐾
