Story
Thelma Louise was born 11/11/2025, she is one of the funniest puppies I’ve ever met. She is great with my children, strangers (people come up to pet her often and she is so sweet), loves other dogs and cats, is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. I feel like I’ve failed her because my job has recently become so demanding that I can no longer give her the time and attention she needs and deserves. We love her, but we aren’t the right family for her anymore due to our schedules (we weren’t expecting schedule changes this intense, our family is beyond stressed trying to keep up). I would love to find her a loving and caring home, preferably one that has another dog she can play with (I have a 16 yr old dog that cannot keep up with her puppy play). Thelma is not aggressive or problematic, in fact she is an amazing puppy that we are sad to have to find a new home for :(

Story
We'll update her profile in a few days - want to learn more about her.  Her ears are shorter than a pure beagle.  We see pug in that pushed nose... Ask to meet her....young, small, cute.... Be sure to watch her race on her video!  Resembles a bullit train.... Actually we should call her a 'puggle'   she is full grown at 15 lbs.  *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Story
Louie is 3/4 beagle, 1/4 pug, born 10-27-16. 35lbs. House trained, leash trained.  In his previous home he was an only dog and did some resource guarding of his food and over the years became protective of his mom with whom he spent his days.  When she was not around, he is great with his dad.   The reason he is needing another home is the arrival of a baby has caused concern with his protectiveness.  He has bit, broken skin in the past...mostly his dad's.  Wished we knew the circumstances... With us a long time and now B&B's Sheriff - no more biting at all - loves to have his forehead rubbed, sleeps in favorite human's bed peacefully with other a few other pooches.  very happily rehabilitated - fine with other dogs of all sizes and ages....foster him if you want to get acquainted and remember, he does have a bandana and gold star! We want an experienced dog family who will follow our advice; no young children.  OK as your one and only, though at B&B,  he's been pretty calm and quiet, and has mingled nicely with the other dogs. He has a very recent good blood panel.  He recently came into our house - voluntarily - and slept in doggie bed in room with lotsa other beagles and one human dog-addict.  So sweet!  Living in a pack is good for beagles... No biting here...we have been very patient and not rushed him to accept petting, all over touching from us. Check out his video in B&B front yard.  He is good with all sizes/ages of other pooches.  He got a sponsor as a Holiday Gift to a dear long time adopter/donor.  Nice way to remember friends, family, dog-lovers for all occasions.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Story
I adopted Bubba to become my emotional support dog and he is amazing. Only problem is I moved in with my elderly disabled parents and he is aggressive towards their little dog. I have never experienced him being aggressive towards humans. He is very protective of his human. He is a very loving and incredibly smart dog. Loves cuddling and belly rubs. Loves playing outside and playing fetch with the ball. He would be great for a single person or couple who doesn't have any other pets. I've been crate training him but he hasn't adapted to it yet. All shots are current and he weighs 30 lbs.
