Story
Otis was born @summer of 2022 and  is 13-15 lbs. Fawn and black. Friendly, loving boy who enjoys being petted. Great disposition! Loves to sit in laps. Well behaved both in our house and at an an offsite event he went to.. He's a good boy and likes playing with the other small dogs. When he first came here, he was overly affectionate with some of the other boys, especially ones in the 20-30 lb range.  But he's calmed down the longer he's been here.  *He seems to have some outdoor allergies, so we keep him inside when he has a flair up. Got himself a terrific home - and he's going to work with Dad!   *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ouija (we call her Ouija Woo or Weeji Woo if you like &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143) is an adorable pug 2 year old girl! We are looking for a great fit for her new owner as she has a mountain of personality, along with big dog energy even though she’s only 19 lbs. Ouija is a bit possessive of her humans and would do great on her own as an only dog or with easy going big dogs. She will not do good in the home with other little dogs/small pets but is fine with them on a leash, or out socially. She is a little scared meeting new men but warms up fast- especially if you have treats! Ouija will be adopted on a spay contract. Ouija is absolutely adorable, super playful, good with most big dogs so far, good with kids but we haven’t had her around babies or toddlers yet (none in her foster home/exposure). We would not recommend other small animals at this time, including cats. She would do best in a home as an only dog or easy going big dogs. She likes to play periodically in the day, take a nice nap, and comes to you for so many kisses & snuggles, including tummy rubs, and smooshes of her amazing wrinkles! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 She likes to be with her humans so expect typical pug behavior where they want to be with you relaxing, sleeping and hanging out (and everything else)! Ouija is great with her collar & leash training and is mostly potty trained to potty pads though that will need to be reinforced in any new home. Looking for a dedicated owner who understands she is not good with little dogs (except on a leash supervised) and is ready to give her a great life that fits her personality!See all available dogs here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/animals/browse Apply here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251  cause4sbpaws@gmail.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 22, 2024, 1:39 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet our boy Louie!    Yep, another Pug. &#226&#152&#186&#239&#184&#143 Our friends at REDFOSA asked if we could take him in. His right eye was in bad shape, causing him pain. We couldn't say no to him.   We picked him up and took him right to our Vet. She found that not only was his eye severely damaged, but he had teeth showing their roots. He was also a bit bruised on his left side and knuckling.   We can't say for certain what happened to our Louie to cause his injuries, but we can share he is mending well! He did have to have his eye removed. He also had 6 teeth removed. We are happy to share his left side is improving, indicating the knuckling may have been due to a trauma.    Our Vet aged Louie as a 6 year old. He is a typical happy, loving Pug. He gets along great with other dogs. He uses a doggy door. He has been neutered, received all his vaccines and is almost ready for his forever home.   If you are interested in Louie, please apply at causeforsbpaws.org.   #causeforsbpaws #lookingforhisforeverhome #fosteringsaveslives #adoptdontshop #lovedogs   See his adoption page here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/animals/browse Apply here: http://www.causeforsbpaws.org/forms/form?formid=3251   cause4sbpaws@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 22, 2024, 1:39 pm
