We adopted Momo in October 2024 from an Arizona shelter; estimated to be approx. year old at that time. We're hoping to find a home that will be able to give him the love and attention that pugs require. Since we adopted him, I've undergone a career change with a demanding schedule that also requires us to move a lot and my wife has just had our first child. As such, the logistics of transporting the dog in conjunction with the strained schedules and the new concern with how he will interact with the newborn has caused us to consider finding him a new home. More about Momo: energetic, very playful, licks a lot, sleeps a ton, and performs zoomies when he is excited; trained to let us know when he needs to go out. Barking is minimal compared with other toy breeds. He gets very "playful" excited (tail up and wagging) around cars, people, and pets. He has his rabies shot, though we refrained from other shots. We completely understand if his new owners requires further vaccinations.

Looks like: Pug mix Male, 8 years old (estimated), 20 pounds Meet Santa's Little Helper, a festive senior Pug who brings holiday cheer everywhere he goes! This jolly little guy is like a year-round celebration, bursting with bubbly energy, cheerful enthusiasm, and a spirit that could rival Santa himself. He adores people and spreads joy like confetti, greeting everyone with happy wiggles and a heart full of love. Santa's Little Helper is also wonderfully social with other dogs and truly shines when he's surrounded by friends. Sweet, merry, and full of sparkle, he's ready to sleigh his way into a forever home where the love, laughter, and cuddles never end. Santa's Little Helper joined POMDR from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being found stray.
