Fern may only have one eye, but don’t let that fool you—he doesn’t let it slow him down! He navigates the world just fine and has plenty of love to give. His resilience is truly inspiring, and it’s clear he’s ready to leave his past behind and start fresh with a family of his own. Because of his background, Fern can be a little shy at first and will need a patient adopter who can give him the time and reassurance he needs to feel safe. Once he begins to trust you, you’ll see just how sweet and loving he really is. Fern is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to build confidence and enjoy the simple joys of being a dog. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, companionship, and a heart full of love. If you’re ready to give a special little guy the second chance he deserves, Fern is waiting to meet you! 🐾 To get a head start on the adoption process, you can also fill out the online pre-adoption application! They were acquired as puppies and have been raised in a home environment. They are affectionate, energetic, curious, and enjoy attention and companionship. Leo is on the thinner side and has a condition that makes it difficult for him to gain weight, so he is naturally very slim, whereas his brother can eat normally. Despite this, he still eats well. We are looking for a loving and patient home that can give them proper care, attention, and a safe environment.
