Story
Sweet Georgia has been through a lot in her short life, but her spirit shines so bright. 💛 This adorable 10-pound, 1–2-year-old pug recently had to have one of her eyes removed, and the other is blind. But don’t let that fool you—Georgia is still full of spunk, sass, and that classic pug charm. She loves to play, cuddle, and be part of the action. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is cat-friendly, and adores children. Because Georgia is completely blind, she must go to a home that understands how important it is to keep her safe. She will thrive in a calm, predictable environment where furniture doesn't move often and stairs or sharp edges are blocked off. A family willing to guide her with patience and love, and keep her world consistent, will help her feel secure and confident. Georgia doesn’t know she’s any different—she’s just a happy, playful girl living her best life, and she deserves a family who sees how truly special she is. 🦮🐾 Georgia is doing fantastic with her leash walking! She’s gotten used to wearing both a collar and a harness, and she now walks like a champ. She also wears a “halo” to help her navigate and avoid bumping into things—it’s such a helpful tool for her, and both the halo and harness will be donated and sent home with her. One of the sweetest things about Georgia is how well she responds when you say "follow"—she perks up and stays right beside you, trusting your voice completely. It’s such a heartwarming bond and a testament to how smart and connected she is. 💕 She’s making great progress with potty training and is really starting to understand routines. Georgia loves snuggles, belly rubs, and curling up next to her person. She’s silly, affectionate, and guaranteed to bring joy and inspiration to every day. If you're ready to love a truly special little pug who will return that love tenfold, Georgia is waiting for you. She may not see the world with her eyes, but she sure feels it with her heart. 💖🐶

Are they social with other animals or people? Why are you looking for a new home for your pet? Has your pet bitten anyone within the last 10 days?:Phyllis currently resides with myself, my husband, and two children. She does well with other dogs but not new people and smaller children as she’s very high strung. Phyllis knows basic commands and is crate trained, we feel it would be in her best interest to find a home and family that has the ability and resources to train Phyllis the way she needs to be. She has nipped at people in the past but has never broken skin.

Story
Hello everyone! Meet Henrietta, Henrietta is a Pug mix that came into our care as an owner surrender. This sweet girl does have a deformity on her front leg, however, that does not take away her energetic self! She definitely does not let anything get in her way when it comes to her energy. She enjoys spending her day laying down on her dog bed and playing with her chew toys. Henrietta is dog friendly, with cats we are unsure, however, we are more than welcome to cat test her if needed. If you are my furever home, come visit me at Valley Animal Center's dog adoption center. To get a head start on the adoption process, you can also fill out the online pre-adoption application! After you fill it out, a dog care associate will contact you shortly. The form is found here: https://valleyanimal.org/dog-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Cosmo: The Sweetest Space Explorer in Search of His Forever Home! Cosmo isnt just a nameits a vibe! This five-year-old Pug mix is a sweet, sturdy little guy with a heart that's bigger than the universe. Rescued from the euthanasia list with just hours to spare, Cosmo is truly a second-chance superstar, and now hes ready to fill someone's life with love, laughter, and a whole lot of cuddles. Cosmo is potty trained, doggy-door savvy, and lets you know when he needs to go outside (very politely, we might add!). He sleeps quietly through the night in his crateeven if he gives you a look about going in at first. Hes good with cats, loves other dogs, and adores his peopleespecially if that means being right in your personal bubble. Hes playful, loves chew bones, and absolutely lives for mealtime (so guard your snacks wisely!). While Cosmo has a chill vibe, hes strong and sturdy, so a home with older kids who can handle his enthusiastic love would be ideal. He walks on a leash with a harness, though he may throw in a little stubborn streak now and then just to remind you hes got opinions too. No one knows exactly what Cosmos past looked like, but his foster says hes clearly known loveand he's more than ready to know it again. This brave, goofy, lovable boy was given a second chance at life. Now hes just waiting for a family to give him the happily-ever-after hes been wishing for.
