This is Jimmy! They were rescued from Stockton Animal Shelter. Stockton had gotten this dog, alongside 6 other housemates, from the home of a hospitalized owner, who unfortunately was unable to care for them after their hospitalization. They came to us scared, but hopeful for a home. Boss Baby may be a bit shy at first, but is so sweet. Once they are warmed up to you, they will be your friend forever! Story
Meet Tater! He is a special boy who came to us incredibly overweight and under cared for. He is very social with other dogs but can be a bit shy around people so he needs more time to warm up to you. Tater has not been around cats so we advise slow introduction when first meeting. He may also need more potty training when in your home. Excited to find your new family member at Wags and Whiskers? Our pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Many come from unknown backgrounds, so please consider the 10+ year commitment. Schedule an appointment today! Call 530-895-8888. Story
Meet Bea! Bea is a young Pug mix with a low energy level and a sweet, mellow personality. This animal is currently in the adorable "potato puppy" phase, spending plenty of time napping, cuddling, and quietly taking in the world. As they continue to grow, Bea will naturally become more playful, curious, and energetic. Bea does well with dogs, cats, and kids. As a young puppy, this animal is still developing their personality and will benefit from continued socialization, positive reinforcement, and basic training as they mature. Bea has a condition called Pectus Excavatum, which means their sternum is pushed inward into the chest cavity, giving them an adorable "hamburger-shaped" appearance. This animal is being monitored, and adopters should be aware of this condition and work closely with their veterinarian to ensure Bea continues to thrive as they grow. Story
9/1/22 estimated birthday. Roxi and her sister Ginny street abandoned in an orchard. They stayed there for a week in a storm waiting for their family to come back. It took me 4.5 hrs to catch them. They were afraid of me then when I got them home they thought I was their best friend. Roxi is a very happy girl. She loves belly rubs. She follows me around happily. She likes to be on the couch and hang on my lap. She loves with foster cats and is doing well. I dint know if she is potty trained.. We run our home a bit like a shelter with multiple foster dogs. She has kennel time, house time and yard time on a schedule. Fixed, deworm treatments and microchiped. I'm not sure of the breed mix. Just going by her body.
