Story
Meet Coco   If you love pugs, Coco is exactly the kind of girl who will steal your heart.   This adorable 4-year-old pug recently arrived in Colorado from Tijuana, Mexico, and she is already charming everyone she meets with her cuddly personality and hilarious little pug quirks.   Coco is sweet, affectionate, and LOVES to snuggle. Her favorite place is curled up close to her people, soaking up all the love she can get. She also takes her role as “food supervisor” very seriously and would happily volunteer to help with every snack, meal, and treat in the house.   Her foster says Coco is settling in beautifully. She’s doing great learning her new routine, has already been going potty outside, and is getting braver every day — even conquering stairs that used to scare her. She’s also adjusting well with the other dogs in the home and continuing to grow more comfortable as she realizes she’s finally safe.   Coco has the perfect mix of cuddly and feisty. She’s playful, funny, full of personality, and has that classic pug charm that makes it impossible not to smile around her.   Most of all, Coco is looking for someone to love her forever this time. Someone who will see her as family for the rest of her life — through every move, every life change, every season.   And honestly, whoever adopts Coco is going to be very lucky.   Apply to adopt Coco here: https://denkaisanctuary.org/adopt ##2732257##

Story
Meet Tockio — the taco stand rescue with enough personality for ten dogs   Tockio is a 3–4 year old pug mix who has never met a stranger, a toy, or a chance to make people laugh that she didn't love.   Her story began on the streets of Tijuana, Mexico, where she was found hanging around a taco stand, begging for tacos and doing whatever she could to survive.   One taco changed everything.   After being offered food and kindness, Tockio quickly worked her way straight into her rescuer's heart. It didn't take long to realize this little girl was something special.   Today, Tockio is safe, thriving, and ready to find a family of her own. She's affectionate, social, and quite possibly the most entertaining little ball of fun you'll ever meet. Whether she's making you laugh with her silly antics, following you around for attention, or soaking up all the love she can get, life is simply better with Tockio around.   Despite whatever hardships she faced before rescue, she has held onto her joyful spirit and her love for people. All she wants now is a forever home where she can be cherished the way she deserves.   If you're looking for a dog who will keep you smiling every single day, Tockio might just be your perfect match. ##2731791##

Story
KIARA DESERVES BETTER THAN THE WAY HER STORY HAS GONE   Some dogs spend their golden years surrounded by the people they've loved their whole lives.   Kiara wasn't that lucky.   This sweet senior pug came to us from Tijuana after her family decided not to take her when they moved away. After years of loyalty, she was left behind to face an uncertain future alone.   Since coming into rescue, we've learned just how much this little girl has endured. Kiara had to have one eye removed, her vision in her remaining eye is impaired, and arthritis in her hips makes getting around more difficult than it used to be. Her body may be showing her age, but her heart is as gentle and loving as ever.   Despite everything she's lost, Kiara still believes in people.   She doesn't ask for much. No long adventures. No endless games of fetch. No excitement.   She just wants someone to love.   A soft bed. A warm lap. A familiar voice. A person to follow from room to room. Someone who will let her spend the rest of her days knowing she belongs.   Kiara is quiet, sweet, and incredibly easy to love. She simply wants to be near her people, soaking up every bit of comfort and affection she can find.   And in true pug fashion, she still has a little bit of sass left. Her royal highness has decided that kibble is no longer acceptable, and she insists on enjoying a raw diet fit for a queen.   We know senior dogs with medical needs are often overlooked. We know they can be a harder choice.   But Kiara has already lost so much.   What we'd love more than anything is for the next chapter of her life to be different. To be filled with comfort, security, and the unconditional love she's always deserved.   If you aren't in a position to adopt, please consider sponsoring Kiara's ongoing medical care and special diet. Every donation helps us continue giving her the care she needs while she waits for her person to find her.   Adopt Kiara: https://denkaisanctuary.org/adopt   Sponsor Kiara: Venmo: https://venmo.com/u/Denkai-AnimalSanctuary   PayPal: info@denkaisanctuary.org   Please share Kiara's story. Somewhere out there is the person who will see beyond her age, her missing eye, and her medical needs—and see the beautiful little soul who's still waiting for her happily ever after. ##2732256##
