Story
Hi, I’m Luna! I'm 2 years old and a little on the heavy side; I need a family that will monitor my food and treats, but I promise I’m full of love and sweetness! I definitely could use some exercising. I love quiet corners where I can curl up and feel safe. Soft voices make me feel calm, and once you speak my name gently a few times, I’ll start to trust you. At first, I might be a bit shy—it takes me a little time to open up—but when I do, you’ll find a loyal friend who just wants to snuggle and share peaceful moments with you. I’ve lived with a 5-year-old before, so I’m okay with kids who understand me. I also want you to know, my previous family thought I wasn’t house trained, but since being at my rescue, I’ve had zero accidents, and I know how to use the doggie door like a pro. If you’re looking for a calm, devoted buddy to share quiet days and cuddles with, I’m your girl. Let’s find a cozy home where I can feel safe, loved, and treasured forever. Will you be my forever human?  If you would like to meet me or have any questions, please text or call Debbie at (720) 588-6809. Please complete an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com. ##2599084##

Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Loopy finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Loopy | 10 months | Pug Mix | Snuggly Couch Potato Loopy is a sweet and playful 10-month-old Pug mix who is ready to find her forever home. This little lady is mostly potty trained, letting you know when she needs to go out by standing by the door, and she enjoys calm, enjoyable walks on a leash. Loopy has a bit of separation anxiety, so she would do best in a home where someone works from home or with another dog for companionship when left alone. She is very social with other dogs, positive around kids 10 and older, and shows no preference between men or women. This girl is a classic Velcro pup—she loves to cuddle, rests her head on you, offers her paw for affection, and happily shows her belly for rubs. She has low energy for the most part, with only short bursts of puppy playfulness, and enjoys toys and chewing on bones when she gets a playful mood. Loopy is a picky eater, so love and attention, sometimes paired with a little wet food, is the best way to win her heart. Loopy came to us as a stray from Texas and has already had a litter of puppies, but she is now spayed and ready to enjoy a carefree life with a loving family. She is easygoing and friendly once she gets comfortable in her surroundings, and she would thrive in a patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. Loopy is truly a cuddly, affectionate companion who is looking for her perfect homebody match.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $400. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!

Story
Flynn is a sweet Pug puppy. Momma is only 15lbs so he will be on the smaller side probably 15-20lbs. He is spunky little fire cracker. Loves to wrestle and play with mom and siblings. Prior to coming into Big Bones Flynn's eye was injured, and it appears likely that it may need to be removed at the time of neutering. Having one eye makes him unique and extra special. Come meet him and I'm certain you will fall in love!
