Story
Hi, we’re a bonded pair of senior pugs—my name is Angel, and this is my best friend, Bubba. Our world changed when our owner passed away, and with no family to take us in, we were brought to a county shelter. It was all very confusing and scary for us. We were then placed into a foster home, and it took us a couple of days just to start feeling safe again and understand what was happening. Now we’re at the shelter, and while we’re so grateful to be cared for, we’re still a little unsure. What we do know is that we are safe, and that means everything. Our foster mom says we are very good pups, and it’s true—we love each other very much and always stay close. We’re hoping to find a loving home together soon. Shelter life is okay, but we don’t want to spend our golden years here. We just want a soft place to rest, kind hands to pet us, and a family to love. Could you be the one to give us that forever home?

Story
We've had Gordo since he was a puppy. He was born in late 2019 and has been a fantastic dog and companion for us. Unfortunately this past year has been difficult for us as a family -- we've had our first child (which in itself can be stressful) while at the same time I was diagnosed with a disease that has required a lot of travel between hospitals. This has meant less time to be able to take care of Gordo. Gordo has a standard bulldog temperament...quite lazy but loves to be around people. He also has some of the more common bulldog issues, though. He has a cataract in his left eye making his visual acuity not so great. He also has skin issues occasionally due to the season, mostly in the ears but sometimes in other pockets. Gordo is overall one of the best dogs I've had the pleasure of owning. He is an absolute character and is definitely the most expressive animal I've had the pleasure of knowing.

Story
Marshall is a 1.5-year-old bundle of happiness who has never met someone he didn’t love.He absolutely adores people and thrives on companionship. Marshall still has that joyful puppy spirit but is past the tiny puppy stage, making him the perfect mix of playful energy and growing maturity. He walks beautifully on a leash, does great in public, and is an easy companion to take along on outings. We are heartbroken to be rehoming him due to our oldest dog’s behavioral issues, not because of anything Marshall has done. He is truly the sweetest boy. His only “flaw” is getting a little overly excited when people come through the door, but he settles quickly and is otherwise very calm, spending much of his day happily lounging and napping. If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly dog who will greet you with a wagging tail and endless affection, Marshall is your perfect match.
