Story
Marissa is a breeder survivor. She was born 05/25/2019 and is now 6 years old. She has finally been freed from a life of being bred every heat cycle. She is a shy girl but very sweet. After just a couple of days, she was running up and asking to be petted. She has been spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative) and is on preventative and is up to date on her vaccines. She will need a fenced yard at her new home and needs a home with no children under 15. Her adoption fee is $350. If interested in adopting, please go to pawspaws.org. If interested in adopting, you will need to go to pawspaws.org (go to your search engine and type that in) to complete the PAWS application. I won't be able to respond to emails asking if she is still available - if she is still pictured on Adopt A Pet,, she is still available. Her picture may not be on our website but as long as she is on Adopt A Pet, she is still available for applications. Please be sure to complete the application in detail and provide all vet information including the name of the heartworm prevention you use or used, even if your pet has passed away or is no longer with you. Thanks so much for your interest in her! She deserves all of the love you have to give!

Story
Pablo is one of 10 small defenseless little dogs that was dumped in the middle of many many acres of nothing but soybean and corn fields. What a horrible fate for these dear sweet babies. He was adopted about a year ago and was doing just fine. But then he began to bite and was returned to PAWS. He has done ok since he has been back and has kind of exhibited the same signs of shyness and timidness that he did before being adopted. So far, we have not seen any signs of aggression. He will need someone with no children and a very quiet household who is willing to work with a dog with his somewhat unpredictable personality. His adoptive home will definitely have to have a fenced yard and his adoptive parent or parents will need to be experienced with dogs who need special attention. This beautiful boy, Pablo, is funny and inquisitive but super shy and still very afraid of fast movements. He definitely wants to be the alpha dog and will do best in a quite home with no children, cats or other dogs. He is reddish brown, weighs about 18 lbs and guestimated to have been born around 07/01/2020. His adoption fee is $150.
