Hilde is an 8-year-old, 6-pound Chihuahua/Pug mix — a Chug, if you will. And honestly, she may be one of the best uses of six pounds we’ve seen. Hilde is extremely cuddly. Not likes an occasional cuddle cuddly. She is bed-snuggles-are-a-requirement cuddly. If you believe dogs should sleep in their own beds, Hilde would like to respectfully inform you that you are wrong. She’s quiet, wonderful with people, and gets along well with other small dogs. We were told she is not good with cats, so we’ll take her word for it and find her a kitty-free home. Hilde travels well, walks nicely on a leash, and is okay in a crate. She’s an easy little companion who mostly seems interested in being wherever you are — preferably touching you. At 8 years old, she’s past the puppy nonsense but nowhere near done with the good stuff. And that face.She’s just adorable as can be. There really isn’t a more sophisticated way to put it. Hilde’s requirements for her new home: a warm bed, room under the blankets, and a human who understands that personal space is terribly overrated. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt.
