Mucho is a 4-year-old male pug/chihuahua mix who spent the first years of his life in a loving home. Unfortunately, due to unexpected housing changes, his family had to make the difficult decision to surrender him. Now, Mucho is ready to find his new forever home where he can give (and receive) all the love he has to offer. With his curly tail, pointy ears, and striking dark brindle coat, Mucho has a one-of-a-kind look to match his equally special personality. Above all else, he adores people. He’s happiest curled up in your lap soaking up belly rubs and ear scratches—and if you stop too soon, don’t be surprised if he gently paws at you or lets out a little whine to remind you he deserves more attention. It’s all part of his charm! Mucho is the kind of dog who just wants to be by your side, happily joining you in whatever you’re doing. He can be a bit protective of his people and may be wary of strangers at first, but once he realizes someone is a friend, he warms up quickly. He also has a playful side and enjoys chewing on bones, rubber toys, and soft stuffies. He does well with other dogs, especially those who respect his space, and he’s generally indifferent to cats. Mucho is excellent with children and is already accustomed to being around young kids. He loves going on walks and exploring the world, especially when he has his trusted person nearby. Mucho is both potty-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy addition to many types of homes. He would thrive in a family looking for an affectionate, protective, and playful companion who will always be close by. If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow with a big heart, Mucho might just be your perfect match!
